The engine programme doesn’t just cover the maintenance. What happens if you have an engine failure or FOD damage etc etc. Many of those programmes cover that. What happens if you have the aircraft for a month and you have a bird strike that damages the engine. You won’t have had time to build up your pot to get it repaired or worst case replaced. Huge risk I would say. How would you deal with this?
Jose, thank you for your insightful comment. You are not wrong, that owning a jet is risky. In my experience, so many things on an airframe can break and cost a lot to fix, not just engines. You could crack a windscreen. Your leading edge can bend. The thing is, an engine program does nothing for you in these cases. And it's not that I don't advocate for engine programs, I think they are a good idea if your plane does not fly all that much. It's just in my model, where we fly over 1,000 hours per plane, per year, the cost of MSP ($1,400 / hr) is simply unnecessary. By the time 3 fresh engines are timed out, you'll have spent $2.8 million with MSP for a job that costs $500k. Also, an MPI on a Falcon 50 TFE-731 engine costs about $100,000 - even if it comes to 2x that, not a particularly large sum of money for a worst case scenario of FOD. A birdstrike is covered by insurance. Thanks again for your comment and viewership, Jose. I appreciate it very much.
Excellent ending as well
High quality video. Subscribed.

Great video
Do you offer programs when I buy plane? And possible lease out my plane to you when I'm not needing it?
Do you sell planes too?
Or you can put a small dome on your plane and use Starlink for $75 a month :) Just kidding. Starlink doesn't allow for that. :)
I think the Starlink wifi for jets costs $15k a month, compared to $4,300 for ATG.
