Im Late to the Walk ,but i agree with everything this Lady said about getting out of London and doing some walking in the UK 🇬🇧 Country side .Im British and have done it all my Life ,with my children in Tow .They do it with their Children now as well.
Another good thing about the English Countryside is there is only one snake that may harm you if trodden on and that is the Adder, No Wolves, No Bears, No Mountain Lions and for the most part the Natives are Friendly. Tony in England
The crossing to Blakey Ridge is along an only Rail/Tramway, which is why its so flat and was used to transport Iron Ore to the Steelworks further North. Very Wild and Windy no matter what time of year it is.
Once you crossed over the A1 outside of Richmond there were no Footpaths to follow until last nights village and the Bluebell in so when Wainwright planned the route he had to follow the Road, now at least the local Civic Council has provided an alternative to walking on the Roads.
On this particular section? There's none. But if you need water, you can ask for water refill when passing villages. Just knock on some doors. Luckily, my 1 liter of water was enough

Really beautiful scenery! Some of the best I've seen.
I’m curious about water replenishment. On this long walk I didn’t notice any water on this long walk.

Di UK tidak ada pohon roboh kayak di AT, semuamya rapi, terawat seperti jalan2 di taman.
Ndak ada Wilderness disini.
Tidak ada pohon besar buat berteduh.
