I’d like to compliment first your playing, very tasteful. Secondly I have to say that this is basically the only review of this guitar that shows its depth of tone. In all other videos it seems they just have the gain pegged all the way, sounds muffled or muddy or fizzy, but not yours. You’ve actually displayed some real nuance that the guitar is capable of. Much closer to the tones I use, as well as the style of playing. So thanks, this was a very helpful video! Take care!
Jason thank you so so much for this. I do really try to let the guitar play me and also try to convey what the instrument is capable of. Once again mate thank you for you time 🤘🧟♂️🤘
@@PaulGlover absolute, definitely not just blowing smoke, a very high quality demo, and it made me feel confident enough to pre-order one, so actually I should be the one thanking you…so thank you!!
I'm glad I watched this. I've been eyeing this guitar for a little while now, and I love the way it looks over the 70, but the tones are not as good. The neck feels really honky in this model, and some of the configurations have some really harsh highs. thanks for the demos.
Great review. I picked up a used 2003 SA160QM lefty a couple of weeks ago for £200. Can't put it down, It's fantastic. I've been playing over 40 years and it's the 1st Ibanez I've owned. I've got a couple of Suhrs and it plays as well as those. I will be defo getting another Ibanez, there is a nice prestige lefty available at the moment hmmmm.
Wow I like this guitar, the color is not my favorite but the versatility and the neck thru catch my attention. I'm between this and the Ibanez rg652 white, which one do you recommend?
I'm hearing a bunch of plinky notes fretting out on the high side. Just got a PRS SE Custom 24-08. Sending it back because of the unleveled frets just like I'm hearing with this. I gotten several Schecter guitars but didn't have that problem with them.
Don't get what you mean dude? Frets and intonation are exceptional on these guitars? Might be something in my tone. Who knows buddy I only spent the time you see me playing this guitar with this guitar so you may be onto something but on the day it played and sounded and felt fecking brill!!!!
Beautiful ❤️ I have never tried a premium or a pristiege ibanez and I don't even want to try them because I couldn't put myself through playing something I know I could never own 😂
Hahahhahahha mate we have all had that chat lol. So iam going into a Laney irt studio with a helix stomp in the loop for delays, reverbs and such. I use 2 delays in the stomp, a noise gate and a little reverb from the black country customs "secret path" reverb pedal. I used the two notes captor to keep the level in the room manageable whist sending out a DI to my audio interface. Hope this helps dude. I have other videos on the Amp and the pedal board I have if ya wanna check them out buddy. Happy new guitar day brother 🤘🧟♂️🤘
I am looking between this one and the typical steve vai jem77 (which is like 100 pounds more). What do u think between the two of them? For soloing and playing metal. Thanks!
Just to ask if anyone knows how to clean this type if finish? Had this model a couple of months now and it's developing a shiny patch due to my habit of anchoring my pinky on the body.
I'd go with daddario cleaning kit dude, if however you have worn through the finish then....erm.....I don't know buddy, maybe re wax/oil the finish back on. 🤔 I have a j custom with the same naked finish and it's inevitable that you will rub the finish shinny with wear. Consider it customised lol 🤘🧟♂️🤘
@@PaulGlover Thanks for the reply, I've only had it couple of months so I think it's just grease from my fingers. I'll look into the the cleaning kit but will orobsbly have to rub myself over the whole thing to even it out😄
Love the look and the specs on this guitar, torn atm between this and a Schecter E1 FRS. Do you still have the Ibanez Jem with sustainer that i sold to you? Kinda miss that guitar

If its a j craft jemwh77, grab it dude. If it's a premium, then I'd most probably go with this as it looks bad ass!!!!!

Hello i would like to ask you if in your experience would you say that this guitar its as great as a prestige, or at least for one of the past??
Yeah these things are amazing dude, not as thin as the prestige neck but super playable and a great playing guitar. 🤘🧟♂️🤘
How about tone ability? Does it stay intone good after using multiple times of whammy bar?
¿where are these ones manufactured?
Malaysia I think buddy. 🤔
ibanez premium from Indonesia 😅 boss katana from malaysia 😃
