It’s obvious that the inspiration for Owen Wilson playing Mobius was…..Owen Wilson. I love Owens work- the characters he plays are kind of like Willis or John Wayne. It seems like you get “them” regardless of how casted. Which isn’t a bad thing. The mannerisms Owen brings to the screen are perfect as Mobius when balanced with Tom’s Loki. his whispering to the judge is an “Owenism” acting like an “awe shucks” character and then dropping smart bombs is definitely an Owenism (“like you killed your mother”- in Loki. Or explaining puberty to Bruce Willis is Armageddon😂). Now all I need is a patented “wow”.
