can I still edit an existing puppet and perform the same steps that you did all within Adobe Character Animator Pro? I am hoping to avoid paying a monthly membership for Adove Photoshop as well.

Glad it was helpful! A pumpkin would work perfectly. If you can find an image without a background that will save you the step of removing it in photoshop. Something like a .png with transparency would work well.

If this is the eashy method? what would be the advanced method? Is started doing this method with a full body character but would like to know if maybe I am missing something.
You can definitely use this same method for the full body of a character. That’s like the next step up from what I showed here. The advanced mode would be starting completely from scratch and rigging the character yourself.
@@jeffamcavoy Thanks. I am a complete beginner with this software, for now I will continue using this method with my full body character and then learn how to animate it using the already programed moves and learn how to create more movements.

Yes! I only work on a laptop. Some may struggle, but those with good processing power and graphics cards should be fine.
Does this work with procreate files?
Yeah, it definitely can. I recommend exporting as a png with transparent background or separating your artwork into layers.

Can I use any of my digital art from ibispaint into Adobe character animator
I don't know much about ibispaint, but as long as you can import it to photoshop or illustrator, it should work just fine with character animator.
