First of all myself, like to edit the thumbnails/clips with funny memes and back ground music. The editing allows me to add value to the clips while showing my creativity, how they are either fail, epic or funny moments. This gives the watchers a deeper understanding of what is going on in the clips. By editing the clips myself and giving them "my own touch" I am able to present a more fast paced and enjoyable experience for the viewers.
    While editing I add music to the clips in the video. On top of that I edit and cut the videos to fit my style of content, on top of that I am a big fan of adding memes and other relevant gimmicks to provide a better overall experience for the viewers.

    Sideshow isn't saying that Tenz is a horrible player. He is emphasizing the fact that Tenz can be a real monster if he just fixes these small holes in his gameplay. Mechanically this dude can do crazy shit and we've seen that already. But the reason why he's not up there anymore is because of the holes you're seeing that sideshow clearly outlines in his videos. At the end of the day, it's up to him if he want to be up at the top again.

      fr he should play similar agent as f0rsaken do, i think the reason there is a lot of miscommunication and issue with how he is pathing as a duelist is due to him not really understanding deep enough on other roles especially initiator role like skye and kay/o, his tendency on being passive could benefit a lot if he play agent like kj/cypher

      Tenz has no agent pool and doesn't really have good utility usage. So I doubt that very much. He has a bad raze, and pretty rough looking Neon, and now his go to in jet is nerfed even worse despite the fact that he hasn't adapted super well to the last nerf and doesn't pop is dash at very good times. So yeah, I doubt that is in the cards

      @@iago9711 I mean Zekken is going to be the main duelist now 100%. When you look at PRX recent matches f0rsaken was playing skye, yoru, harbor, astra and killjoy. I’m not saying for tenz to learn those exact agents but I think he can easily learn Skye and an agent like Harbor to pair with his Kay o that already looked decent in lcq. He showed that he can throw good flashes but I do agree that some individual coaching can make his utility way better

Derke/sayf are good examples of a duelist that constantly plays aggressive and takes the initiative. Sometimes to much as Boaster has talked about having to reel him back in but that's in a way is a better issue to have with a duelist than one that is too passive and timid to initiate contact. Not saying that the calling couldn't have compounded the issue but the reality is that he's not a great duelist right now comparatively to the ones playing at the very top are.

    I have been saying this for so long. He has good mechanics, but why are we building a team around a player who hasn’t had any star power since the games first appearance. Think of fortnite…. Ninja fell off so hard as soon as people knew how to play the game. Tenz was crazy when the game was first out and the executes weren’t great. Now, he is unable to break into that “star” role that teams should actually be building around like Aspas or Derke

    0:56 really a great analogy with TenZ.. he's an average player when he's playing poorly; which has been recently..

    He's far from it right now but he can take it back with hard work.

    The title is basically propaganda too. Dude wasn't badmouthing Tenz to badmouth Tenz. He was providing constructive criticism. He was basically doing what any coach would do. It wasn't malicious. Without even seeing the video Tenz agreed he had a lot to work on. Title is just making more people act like it's trash talk.

  • @primal9238
    @primal9238 7 місяців тому

    I feel like society is getting slightly dumber sometimes. Criticism isn't inherently a bad thing. People are acting like he's trash talking when he's literally just doing what a coach would do. That's how you get better at Valorant at high levels. In the moment it's all adrenaline and chaos. Afterwards is when you look at the recaps and analyze what went good and what went wrong to improve next time.
    Tenz is obviously cracked. Every pro player is, if anyone calls them bad at the game they're insane. No one is calling Tenz bad besides randos just being haters.
    I think Tenz said he wasn't going to watch it and the reason was his mental. He gets depressed and loses his confidence easily so he just didn't want to watch it. I would personally watch it but he has a valid point. His coach can watch it and work on whatever needs to be worked on. He just needs to listen to his coach, so not like he has to watch it. He'll just get the information through his coach.

If this wasn’t tenz but some tier1 duellist that fell off, y’all would’ve ask him to just quit the team fr. Organisation would also cut him off. The only thing sustaining is his fame n popularity to sell merch and garner viewers. In all seriousness if im paying a player 1 mil for his buyout and even giving him tier 1 player’s salary when literally even EG that are champions last year are forced to take a pay cut, I would at least expect some form of standard such as not making basic mistakes that Sideshow mentioned?? The only reason ppl are more hateful towards him is cuz he’s not just overhyped but the fact that the standard he is showing is far below his pay grade and that’s wt even causes ppl to hate him more. As long as he proves ppl wrong and perform under pressure he’s able to shut haters up. But the looks of it he has alr peaked and is just too far from the tier1 players now. How many esport players are even making close to what he is rn? Many would ‘die for’ his salary. Putting at least 2-3 times the effort.

    I do think tenZ is a horrible player compared to other tier 1 pros, not in terms of his aim or reaction time(it's insane I agree stans) but in terms of his game sense and discipline. Valorant is becoming more than just a jett killing everyone due to insane abilities(which is now nerfed to a point) with support and now for 2 years his form is bad so it doesn't work. The dash that sideshow pointed even after he gets an entry, he does it so much and that's a throw, worked before but now it doesn't work. It’s both good and bad. We can’t sit here and say that TenZ performance is goodbut at the same time I don’t think a caster needs to do a 90 minute video on a player with the fan base caliber of TenZ size, very click baity.
    Another thing that is weird is that we really talking about his 2023 performance and pulling up vod reviews from when Dephh is IGL. TenZ went though a roller coaster of a season.
    Tarik is right though, TenZ isn’t in the clear for his performance and at the same time there are A LOT of factors that play into all this. It’s not like IGLing has been the best nor has the team been good overall.

    • @phinks5368
      @phinks5368 8 місяців тому +3

      You should watch his whole video before criticizing it. He pulled up as many clips as he could without deph in them as he could. But the reality of the situation was that its kinda unavoidable as he's reviewing Tenz's 2023 season as it's the most relevant. If he did a 2022 year review that doesn't make sense and has nothing really to do with his performance this year. Also even if you wanna blame bad IGL on them losing more often there's still not gonna be the igl solely responsible for a team losing. The clips he uses are of situations where tenz's actions have the most influence the round.

      Did you watch the video? You wouldn't be saying that if you watched the WHOLE thing. It's not dissecting Tenz in a bad way by any means. If anything it's acknowledging both his good and bad traits. It's fully in the spirit of giving constructive criticism. Deph being IGL has nothing to do with it, he doesn't control TenZ's every little movement like a chess piece. Every micro decision he takes is partly his decision and an IGL call is not an excuse for the overall loss of value of his decisions. A great player should still be a great player despite who the IGL is. You should really watch the whole thing before judging it.

    • @Meccanoltd
      @Meccanoltd 8 місяців тому

      Lol I don’t really care for it. If he’s so passionate about these things then become a coach or something. Neither do I care about watching the whole video… it’s saying what TenZ can do better or how he reacted this way this and that, I get that.. though speaking about someone’s tumultuous season is a little pointless. Let’s see them next season.
      Also I didn’t say TenZ is in the clear of his performance. IGL has a big part of how a team starts and goes into mid round, sure the player has sole control of the situation and can do better but who doesn’t have mid round biffs. Again don’t really care for it. Still stands that it’s clock baity to point at a players performance, may as well do one on the winning team like EG, why TenZ?

    • @phinks5368
      @phinks5368 8 місяців тому +1

      @Meccanoltd So don't critique other people's work if your not gonna bother watching his video. Also, he's an analyst, and analysis is what they do. Why are you upset he's doing his job. They do this in every sport their is. And acknowledging what went wrong in a tumultuous szn is the first step to improvement its not pointless. What film do you think Coach Kaplan is gonna review when they talk about fixing individual player mistakes. Scrims are nice, but Kaplan has a szn worth of actual competition film to use to critique players' performances with. Also I think you're putting to much responsibility on the igl there needs to be a general high level of macro skills to be expected from all the players on the team and we've seen teams that have that(PRX) be able to operate without a dedicated igl.

Clickbait is when the title or headline is over dramatized or intentionally dishonest to incentivize reactions. Also a true clickbait video often times will not really include the content it was advertising. But neither of those are true. Tenz really needs to improve his performance from last year which entails coaching of some kind and the video content goes in-depth about the headline. So no by all counts the video is not clickbait at all.

      I've barely watched Sideshow's content but even I can agree that his points are extremely valid and fact- and analysis-based and done out of wanting TenZ to be and do better, regardless if he is their coach or not. I also fully understand why he needed to make this video; because people like you exist. People who think criticism of public figures, especially coming from people who actually know what they are saying, can only come from people directly connected to them.
      It's not unfounded criticism or clout chasing or clickbait. It's an analysis and research-based observation of TenZ's performance.
