I have a claw foot bathtub that I bought at an estate sale. It’s long enough so that when I am sitting up straight with my back against the end of the tub, my feet don’t touch the faucet end. My husband refinished it with paint that you use on automobiles, so it’s very durable and shiny, so it’s easy to clean.
@@Thomasina-m8c my husband said you need to fix the chips with Bondo first , then use the paint. I remember him carrying it to the porch to repair it. I was given 6 legs for the tub because the legs had come off, so we had to find the correct legs for each leg area. We were remodeling our bathroom and we had to bring the bathtub in through the window. We’re going to be moving into a log house soon on our property and we’re not looking forward to moving that heavy thing. We will mark the legs so we’ll know which leg goes where. I’ve really enjoyed the tub. We have another bathroom, but it just has a tub/shower in it and it looks like half the size 😄
It was kinda funny how I got this tub. When I went to the estate sale, I noticed a bathtub outside leaning against the inside garage wall. It was dirty and it didn’t look like they were going to include it in the sale, so I asked them about it and I think I ended up paying like $10.00 or $15.00 for it because they just wanted it out of their way.
When I buy a new dog bed I prick up a cozy blanket at a thrift store and wash it. I then cover the bed with the blanket. That way I can wash the blanket once a week and it keeps the bed clean plus washing eliminates any dog odor that was coming from that direction.
Danni thank you for this shopping trip I always learned so much from you. Hope you’re having a great week. Sending you blessings, prayers, much love, and great big hug.❤🙏
Wished I had known you were going to Dog Junkies. Molly needs a very small doggy bowl and a warm jacket. I crocheted her a sort of sweater that is very hard to get off and on. And I had to crochet a leash as she came with none. She loves to "walk" She actually runs from yard to yard looking for a good place to potty and always ends up pottying in my yard, which is great. She has a lot of energy for a "Hospice" dog.
There were so many different things to look at Danni & calculations to make .You chose some great stuff ❤.I have an open mind to anything for sale.Thats why you make it so enjoyable for many Danni .Not forgetting your wonderfully thoughtful personality and your hard work ,which I know you love . 💙 💙 💙
It’s Thanksgiving day and I’ve been sick for weeks and watching your videos just relaxes me because you have such a calming voice my husband’s doing the cooking and I hope you’re having a good day
Deseret (you had it right, you don't pronounce the t) has great prices and their shelves are usually a lot cleaner than GW, at least here. I found some great art there, too.
Nice to know I'm not the only one that gets overwhelmed seeing all the clear glass. Our Goodwill is very small , art section is small but I found a piece of Haitian folk art that is so cool.
Hey ! Danni vraiment de belles et superbes trouvailles, il est vrai que c'est pas évident de trouver de bonnes choses, mais tu y arrives avec tes belles mains. Je te suis depuis longtemps et tu es vraiment la reine des acheteuse. ❤❤
Just started watching video..... To answer questions about dog beds.....on a good well made bed you can unzip all the different sections in the bed & take out that pillow sections (in well made beds each sections of bed that you unzip is a contained pillow) you take apart the entire bed & BE SURE to re- zip each section before throwing the bed into the washer to be washed. (You do this because you don't want the zipper to get broken while it's getting washed in washer...if it does that makes a bigger problem). In two or more separate loads wash cover & the different pillow sections. If the bed does not unzip I would not buy the bed new or used. Now I'm going back to watching your video....lol.😊
I really love you're video's! There is so much good stuff in the thriftstores you visit....Much better than in Holland! You are really filming everything so the vieuwer can thrift with you and you have a clear explanation at stuff you see or pick. Thanks Niche lady!
♦️Dez-i-ret. Say a short rhyme: We MET at the Desiret?♦️In an earlier comment, the viewer was correct, you simply TURN the kitty to wind up the music box.♦️Oh, wow! Isn’t Dog Junkies a fabulous place to thrift! The merchandise is amazing but so is their mission.♦️I’m so thrilled for you! You’re so close to 100 Thousand Subscribers here on UA-cam! You are to be congratulated. It can’t be long now!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 ,
Might be a good idea to take a small magnifying glass or a jewelers loupe along with you when looking at jewelry. You would be easier to read marks and know if a piece is designer or not.
I was just watching one of your older videos and guess what I spotted in one! The SILVER FADE WINE GLASSES! A 2 year old video from the antic mall. I saw them and went oh look! There they are!
I love that grandfather clock, we gave ours to our son. I really like exploring with you, viewing all the items. I am picking up knowledge from watching…now I need to utilize that knowledge on a shopping trip…lol
Thanks for clearing up for me the Indiana Glass/Avon "sleeping cat tea light holder". I was looking at 2 of these in a thrift store in my area (NJ) but was questioning if the Avon version was "real" Indiana Glass. Now that you told me that IG licensed the product to Avon, I know I can buy the Avon version with confidence. Thanks for the info! I learn so much just by listening to your sweet, calm voice. (I'm pretty sure you know EVERYTHING!) Glad you found some really pretty things at 50% off!

I love this! You’re quite fortunate!
We have a tub that is chipping all over and it's a old tub does car paint really work ?

At 38:57 you missed a beautiful Czech blown glass vase, white with a ribbon of royal blue glass. They can be old and worth a good sum. Gorgeous
With the music box the cat turns in order to winded up.

My dog's bed is, and envelope pillowcase stuffed with an old afghan.

You’re right, it absolutely does look like caramel drippings and I thought that as soon as I saw them
The cat on the music box @ 7:23 is the winder.
The pretty watercolor striped base is bohemian glass worth anywhere from $15 to $40. Comes in different shapes and sizes.
I’m sorry but even if “Wallace” is no longer with us, they should have kept the mug.
Hey, LOL,! I use my cherry pitter every year. I get tubs of cherries. You’re funny!❤
CONGRATULATIONS DANNI ON YOUR 100K 🎉🎉🎉 I am so excited and happy for you.❤

I was just watching one of your older videos and guess what I spotted in one! The SILVER FADE WINE GLASSES! A 2 year old video from the antic mall. I saw them and went oh look! There they are!
50 years ago when I lived in Salt Lake City, we did say Deseret with the t the end.
PS loved the video however you pronounce Deseret
To watching you its Just fun. Thank you so much❤
Love dog 🐶 junkies!!
Hi Dani! I think the wood piece with the four holes is a toothbrush holder.
Danni, how much was the longhorn platter? Would love it.
You can call them!
Hello from Idaho !!! Ready to get shopping !!!
My mom and I bought the grapes pitcher and the glasses (goblets) in the 70s with green stamps I lost the set in Galveston during hurricane Ike😢
I love that grandfather clock, we gave ours to our son. I really like exploring with you, viewing all the items. I am picking up knowledge from watching…now I need to utilize that knowledge on a shopping trip…lol
Deseret Industries - You pronounce the t at the end of Deseret. Love your videos!
I have that wooden thing with holes in top also. I use it to hold my pencils.not sure what it's meant for, though. I also have a train one, too.
For hat pins.
Looked like bigger bunny gravy boat beside the small oned white
Hi Danni Ann ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Milk Glass !!! But I prefer Fenton Hobnail !!!
I hope I can have some dibs on one of those horse prints
Danny, this is a grinder. In Puerto Rico called “pilón” and we use to smash the garlics and herbs, but you need the “Maseta” that it goes with it.
Those are gorgeous
I love that cute fan pencil sharpener
I think the wooden thing you called a flower frig is the top to a lazy susan

On the cat music box you twist the cat to wind it
Yay you made it 100K subscribers. Congratulations xx
Thank you!
I think the cat is what you're supposed to wind. You probably figured that out by now.
I would love to have the feelings chart that you saw
The cat hangs holding unto the rim of the little fish bowl.
The colored vase was Crate & Barrel
You should try that coat on because you never know if it might fit you
How much was that horse that you looked at but didn’t get Danni? I really liked that horse
Oh i don't remember
Is it possible you turn the cat figure itself to activate the music box? Oops never mind, someone beat me to it....
