I'm 39 years old, recently laid off, and in a new phase of my life. What are my best options for steady income given that I have 425K saved for retirement, 10K in an HSA, and a property that might bring in an additional 200K?
Is it time for a career shift or should I consolidate my investments into a single account? If I go for the latter, how do I do it right, and what could be the drawbacks? Plus, with a $200K property sale on the horizon, should I combine my investments or diversify them across different markets?
These are crucial questions for a financial planner. I met mine at a NYSE summit, and with her help, my wife and I reallocated our $1.7M portfolio between a traditional IRA and a brokerage account. She’s been making investments with our approval and has helped us recover twice our losses. We’re holding steady and carefully navigating more markets
You are spot on that the image of Uganda presented by it's media falls short of the developmental strides achieved by the regime of Yoweri Museveni. As a Kenyan who occasionally forays into neighbouring towns across the border I hardly notice any difference with what's in my country. Me think that Kabushenga is wary of hurting the feelings of some good friends with deluded thinking that the country has been on autopilot since the advent of Museveni and that the likes of Kabushenga's success in life is more of entitlement rather than hard work.
1000%. He almost completely dodged the question. I think from a casual POV the answer is that Ugandans don't think how they are portrayed as a country matters. Its not important to them.
The big question is what will happen for Uganda after the current leadership, we need to think about this as Ugandan. Thank you Robert for this discussion
Hi Sunny, am a big fun of the long form.....podcast......... next time, please bring on Dr.Donald Kaberuka........He has been a success...........& his interview would be equally educative....!
You land at an airport whose renovation was highly highly out of budget, the cost of those repairs was enough to build another terminal and you assume the country is doing okay. You were driven on Entebbe express which is the most expensive road in terms of cost. Interviewer, do your research!!!!
Interesting coversation

While seeking a financial advisor at this point is sensible, postponing retirement could be a more prudent option

Uganda is not more ethnically diverse than Kenya or Tanzania
It is
Uganda has 130 indigenous tribes
@@mosesabeka7545 No way. Uganda has about 4 groups. Banyakitara (Western Bantu), Luo, Eastern Bantu, Karamojong-Itesot and Madi-Lugbara.
@@eastafricanist9156Note I stated tribes not groups. Tribes. The Luo alone are more than 10 tribes
Bob, understand that Tanzania is more diverse than Uganda with 127 tribes or more
