I really struggle to understand the last part about using the belly for tsuki.
I can get the feeling from the shoulder but if I use the other feeling i become slow

Soke Yoshimi died roughly at my present age, so I amin better position to compare and admire his both physical and personal qualities, which remain unparalled. Many thanks to SHihan Julio Martinez , to have recorded and shared this video. May SOke Yosihimi rest in peace. Paul, 68, already retired instructor of Karate.

Why would you retire? Health condition? Okinawan masters are active in their 80’s. I’m a young 67, I have a long way to go. My mother is 95. OSS!

I did shukoi for years under Roy Stanhope at ardwick sports center he is now a ninth Dan and high up in the organizatoin of the shukoki union in found it a very fast style and would recommend it too any won interested in power full and quick movements with shorter stance than many styles I was going in for my purple belt has I remember I had passed my second green my brother was going in for his first brown we use too go twice a week and at weekend go down to the club for practice with different styles would attend and do full contact I unfortunately moved house and only one club there was shotokan I tried that for few months but eventually stayed too other styles akido then wing chum since then I had a bowl hope so I have not done any since only aytbjome I go throu the kata it's ashame I moved if I would of continued I would with dedicationmightbhavebheld a black belt now Alf dean I miss n doing shukoki wythenshawe I am now seventy six and it keeps you fit so take my advice and if you want a fast powerfull style try it yourself you wont look back alf
