I only saw the Birds of Prey when examining the footage at home. I've called them hawks, but could be Harriers, Kites, Falcons etc, so if anyone knows. :)
Text below taken from Addiewell Heritages website so shout out to them.
They are also known as the Westwood Bing as they are made of spent shale from the Westwood Oil Works which was established during World War II to feed the demand for oil at that time.
In the UK, shale bings are only found in the West Lothian.
Shale bings were always beside oil works - not the mines as it was processed at a crude-oil works first where the crude oil (paraffin) was taken from the deep-mined oil-holding shale. There are 5 impressive bings at this site because the shale was dumped depending on wind direction!
They provide a refuge for localised rare plant and animal species and are deemed important to both conservation and for their diversity.
Great shots Mate!
