Chief minister J Jayalalithaa has been in hospital for 12 days now, but there has been no news of any blood relative visiting her.

68-year-old Jayalalithaa had been admitted to Apollo Hospital here since September 22 for fever and dehydration.
On October 2, the Hospital had said she was being treated for “infection” and “continues to improve”.
According to the Hospital, Jayalalithaa’s treatment plan include appropriate antibiotics, respiratory support and other allied clinical measures.
The expert opinion of a UK-based doctor had also been taken by the hospital.
The Tamil Nadu government will not be ordered to make a formal statement on the health of Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa or choose a stand-in for her while she is in hospital, the Madras High Court said today
