  • Brent Read, Matt Encarnacion and Pamela Whaley explain the latest drama at the Wests Tigers, and discuss when the club might see some blue sky. They take a look at the Bulldogs good form and whether or not Latrell Mitchell and Mitch Moses have done enough to make NSW Blues coach Michael Maguire take notice ahead of Origin II.

Bulldogs have been incredibly impressive. The new players and team are continually gelling better every week. By the end of the year they are going to be lethal & very hard to beat.

They'll be easier to beat by the end of the year, they don't have the depth to challenge anyone near the top

@SkeletorsSon I don't know. The Storm at home where lucky to beat the Dogs earlier in the year and the Panthers just won in a low score, they beat the Roosters and all this done without their half Sexton and Tracey at the back.Theybare playing much better now also

If Tago is eligible for NSW he has to be in the conversation, if no Latrell I'd definitely pick Tago

Every week the same pet subjects are on this show:
    1) Love affair with Bulldogs
    2) Wests Tigers Saga
    3) Anti Nicho Hynes Sentiment
    4) Reid's Worrying IQ
    See you next week.

Speaking of old man noise grievances, Manly CEO Tony Mestrov came back from Vegas intent on “modernising the fan experience”. Now presto, we have crappy rap music blaring over the PA during stoppages of play. Mestrov admitted some fans won’t like it. I won’t be going back to Brookie with that garbage noise. Mestrov clearly doesn’t care about fans, but did he stop to think wether our star players like DCE and Turbo want to play hearing that garbage noise?

Contracts should not be allowed over a certain length. Barcelona FC signed a 16 year old and gave him a contract that had a release clause of 1 billion Euros. This in any other arena than sport is the definition of child trafficking. To force players to stay at clubs for years on end when they want to leave is wrong. Players contracts should be no more than 2 years.

I agree, we need Latrell n Cody in the blues an leave Nicho in cause Cody and him have played together for the Allstars.
Not sure about having Spencer in if Latrell gets picked. Can't believe they picked Spencer after 3 games and being a racist towards our indigenous players. If Spencer looks at Latrell the wrong way, he better be prepared to be knocked out.
Ezra is well respected in the indigenous culture. No indigenous players will want to go to the Roosters while he is there. I feel for Connor Watson..
Rewarded for being a Racist 😮 well done Madg..

Throwing around the label racist is just childish and petty. Spencer called him a monkey, I’ve been called a monkey 100 times and it was never about my race, that’s an old Aussie slang and insult and if Spencer says it was not racially motivated, who the f**k are you to say otherwise? I don’t like Spencer but we need to stop being such sensitive, pathetic drama queens in Australia. Mam is a sensitive little sook, like Reece walsh constantly laying down to milk penalties - the game is becoming soccer and the softest ones are bloody Queenslanders like mam and walsh

WHY would you pick Spencer in the team. Any indigenous players wouldn't want to have his back. Arthur wouldn't be happy at all. Having A Racist at the Roosters. SHAME SHAME SHAME. Madg hopefully you'll the right thing.

    • @timhoward846

Spencer claims that he said “monkey” as an insult but it was not racially motivated, I have heard hundreds of people called a monkey and it was never anything to do with race, that is an old Aussie insult and slang. So if Spencer has said that and copped his punishment like a man anyway, who are you to attribute racism to his words and actions?
Mam is just a sensitive baby who cried wolf, Spencer was one of our best in game 1 and I he deserves his place in the team. You should think carefully before labelling someone a racist, you moron.

He is not racist, it was a slur on a footy field. Honestly if you knew what was said between players out there you would think his comment was tame
