The kids were good, but I can tell a lot of credit is due to the directors especially whoever was working with them vocally to find their voices and use them correctly. Also comes to show what a well-funded arts and theater department can do. Good to see the Pharoah actor went on to do great things.
Stumbled across this video randomly. This is Broadway quality stuff here. The joseph is Fantastic! And the Narrator. As well as several of the brothers. Great stage direction and transitions. Pharoh was slightly disappointing but might have been an off day. I hope at least some of these kids continued their musical theater career into adulthood!! BRAVO!!!
As have posted before, this is an incredible production , all the leads were strong, led by a very charming and vocally secure Joseph, and an excellent narrator. I forget that I am watching a school production. All the department's excelled, great set, lovely costumes which no one looked uncomfortable wearing, great tech work from lighting, very sound orchestra and simple but highly polished choreography. Well done.
You guys, this was absolutely amazing! I've seen a lot of performances, but this one has that spark of magic that makes theater truly special. Lovely job everyone ❤
This is pretty impressive. Vocally so strong, and inventive staging. I've seen, like, a hundred high school versions of this play, and this is one of the best.
High School???? I would take this show to Broadway - as is. So very impressed. I represented an original 'Joseph' in the Broadway production (back in the 80's) and I was blown away by this production. The leads are ready for bright careers if they choose that path.
From a little Google search the guy who plays Pharaoh is still acting. The Narrator is a teacher, Reuben appears to possibly be acting, couldn't find much on Joseph.....I spent about 2 minutes on each
Wow, that “love me tender” moment was pretty good. Wonder if that “Priscilla” was an actress or an audience member already told what to do. Loved the KFC thing.
Loved the show. I keep coming back to this to watch. Is there a way to get the DVD/BluRay? Out of curiosity, how many shows were recorded and edited together? Just noticed differences like Dan's baseball cap coming and going during the bows and Joseph's wardrobe changing during his "Any Dream Will Do" song around the 7 minute mark in Act 1.
I believe there were four shows in total taped and then edited together. Yes, there are definitely continuity errors and different things happened each night including costume inconsistencies. If you watch enough, I'm sure you'll find more. Moving away from DVDs and BluRay. Trying to put everything online. Easier to save and distribute.
This is my other favorite show can you do Molly Beach to like these like in act 1 and act 2 thank you so much of doing these amazing show thank you and thanks these shows are really amazing it makes my heart booked with plaid I love it so much thanks and thank April Bond❤🎉
The narrated is excellent as is Joseph and the brothers the only let down is elvis he doesn't try to do an impression of the King he is good but he sounds more like a ageing rockstar with a bad laugh than elvis when I played this role I went full elvis not any old rock n roll star the role is written as an elvis parody that's how it should be played

You’re right, good points but no need to brag about yourself. Could you post your performance if possible?
