From first and third games, you think Togami is on fire, he was, Ma long was in trouble, he was. However, after the third games, Ma settled himself, figured out Togami's aggressive attacking pattern, made adjustment and returned Togami to what he really was, a player much inferior to Ma Long.
The rally at 2:30 shook Togami. It reminded him that this is Ma Long, who has been on another level for years. After that he is a lot less inclined to initiate offence. It it wasn't for Ma Long's lack of rhythm himself, the match would have ended a lot sooner.
Ma Long is truly the GOAT. At 35, he's still playing like a teenager. His greatest ability is to dissect the opponent's game, finds the weaknesses thoroughly then attack with precise/powerful/smart contro to win. It took even the top notch FZD so many years to finally go past him, now we can understand why.
