Thank you for the excellent tip on cleaning finger prints off before burning the stove in, though I am thinking of having my friend's toddler put his lovely little hand prints on the stove top and body as a piece of toddler art etched into the stove forever. That apart, if you use the feet on the stove cook top, you'll have a much flatter and obstruction free cooking surface than using wing nuts. It will also look considerably more professional.
My buddy Tom has this stove. I think it is the best lightweight stove made. The titanium is the best I have seen and the quality of the build is second to none. Thanks for producing an outstanding pack stove. As soon as I can afford one. $350 lg great price, yours is the one I will buy Made In The U.S.A. Thanks, guys...
I just built a duplicate to this stove but out of 316 stainless, it might be slightly heavier( like 8 oz) but it saved me a ton of money, hopefully it holds up.
I have the original Cub Stove and to ensure longevity of the firebox base panel when burning smokeless charcoal briquettes I bought a sheet of expanded mesh titanium and made a grate. Stainless steel expanded mesh sheet would be good to use in your stove and would help extend its life
Hi. Having trouble cleaning off fingerprints, before first burn in. I have tried soapy water, no success. Then tried hydrogen peroxide as well but did not work. Fingerprints are still visible. Please help. Thank you
A pre-burned stove is a second hand stove! No supplier would want to turn their brand new stock into second hand stock and then try to sell it for the new stock price. Who pays for all the time to assemble, burn in, disassemble, clean and repack the stoves? It makes no sense on any level. That apart, great tip...

Great tip about the fingerprints burning in and keeping the stove loose for the treatment.

Wiping off the fingerprints is a step I totally would have missed.
Good stuff

That's awesome Jeff! Hope it works good for you!

Perfect! Just got mine in today and had to watch the vid on how long! Nov 5th deer hunt in the FC Is, so I'm super stoked!! No pun! Lol. Thanks
Glad we could help!
What size did you get? I"m trying to figure out the right size currently.
Do any of you have experience with the Kuiu summit refuge 3p tent and how it compares to the seek outside shelters?
Wouldn't you want to turn the stovepipe upside down and burn it again so that the top would get set too?
Way cool great info just wondering if the young man is Bush sr relative crazy socks 😁
will this work with a kuiu summit stove jack insert?
What size is that one you're burning in right now?
Way cool little camp stove how much and were can I get one thank you
What is the burn time on one fill of wood?
Cool stove
Can you show how you unroll the pipe after it has been used?
We will definitely be making a teardown video for the pipe and stove in the future! Stay tuned!
Thanks, guys!
helpful video, thank you
Awesome stove, how much $$$? and where can I get one? That is the perfect size.
You can buy it here: shop.gohunt.com/collections/seek-outside/products/seek-outside-titanium-wood-stove
worth doing another burn with the stove pipe reversed to really get the memory burned in, or is that not necessary?
No, we wouldn't recommend reversing the pipe. That form will always stay the same.
it will be helpful to show how the chimney fits OVER the damper insert. every detail should be shown carefully, slowly, close up
Thanks for the suggestion! Much appreciated.
goHUNT a lot of users assume others know all about the details. We don’t. We come here to get them
How difficult is it to break the pipe back down afterwards?
Very easy! It takes around 5-10 mins to tear down completely.
Ya wish you would have showed how you store it away for a hunting trip.
Thanks for the feedback. We will definitely be making a teardown video for the pipe and stove in the future! You're not alone!
Hey. Was that a large or medium stove?
It is a Large stove!

That is strange. You might want to try acetone.
Fixed problem with Stainless steel "wipes" worked great. But thank you. Also seek outside recommended mineral spirits.
@@back2nature78 Exorcism as a last resort?
Should have shown disassembly and repacking...
We have one coming!
Mine warped quite a bit so that was disappointing
Did you keep the wingnuts loose prior to first burn-in?
Ti looks great burned in and if you leave your finger prints on there, it's your own personal ID burned in.
OR if you wanted to, you could use your fingerprints to actually DRAW an ID in such as a phone number etc. Just an idea.
Wait a minute..aren't you the guy that rolls hunts with HUSH and born&raised outdoors?
Brady has indeed been on some videos with both HUSH and Born & Raised.
Now break it down to pack and set it up again
cubs? lost me.
Haha
Too much work, I'll stick with a 4 season trailer and generator. You guys should offer pre-burned in stoves for customers
