Thanks for the compliment for my friends. All my friends are native of Yangon. They were born and brought up in their home country, but they are hard-working, so they could speak good English. We joined the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program together. It is an exchange program to promote international understanding.
The old tree, called Thitpoke are not only big and very popular for University but also he had a lot of a sadmemory with University Students for Burma Political Activities during Military government controlled.
Some of old students told about of the cruel action(killed by gun) to the students by Military government. The Thitpoke tree, he know what happened in the University at that time, he was told to us if he could speak.

Since Burma was also under the British rule... so I guess those old buildings are made by the British/ English. Very beautiful city indeed.
Yes, Shourov, the buildings in downtown Yangon were built in Colonial Era, about 150 years ago.
