This was extremely helpful! I am in my first semester of grad school for Social Work and am taking a theory class right now. I would love for you to do more videos of other theories!
A fantastic learning tool. I just wanted to ask if you might be able to slow down a little please. Apart from that the information is brilliant. Thank you
Social work student here. I'm halfway through the video and so far I love it. I can see your passion through this video. I'm having to write a paper on the strengths perspective, so this will be helpful. Thank you!
This was really interesting because I’m actually studying for social work for my bachelors. This was sooo informative, I still don’t know what I want to do in life I’m all over the place haha but I love helping people. I love how passionate you sound about getting to know the client and really asking all those probing questions. This video was super helpful! Every person totally has the strength to move on love this!
Thank you! This actually helped me a lot. I was just reading my social work articles and I don't feel like I want to read plenty of pages in the mid of the night. This really inspired me a lot. Thank you!!!
This was really interesting to learn about! The whole cheering on concept increasing confidence is so true, I could relate that a ton to sports! Love the "I have anxiety, I am not anxiety" perspective!! That's is such a powerful statement🤗Great video girl
your videos have helped me prepare for my exams SO MUCH. Its really solidified my learning and you spell everything out so clearly! Thank you so much once again. Nga mihi nui, Abby
that makes me so happy to hear!! and best of luck on any exams you'll have in the future :) I plan to make more social work videos like this one in the fall when I begin school again.
@@AnnaBea Can u give us an example on how to apply strengths based perspective in a group/community? An example here on the comments would do. I'm a social work student and I wanna learn more about this method, especially on how to apply it in a group work
OMG Anna what u said is perfect!! I just appreciated if you can do a like 10min scenario talk as a social worker towards a patient in a hospital setting, with recovery-centre approach.
Hi Anna your video was very informative, can you please assist me with more information. I am doing a theory worksheet on Strength Perspective. Who were the contributors in this theory. and also how would I use this in an intervention
Thank you for your kind words! I do tend to speak quickly, especially when filming videos (a little nervous habit I think). I recommend slowing down the video if that is helpful to get the information at a more comfortable pace! This is something I'm working on 💗
Unfortunately, the music track playing with your voice makes it impossible for me to take in. I'm sharing this because it does make it less accessible for neurodivergent individuals, which might be important to you.

Can you do a video on why it's ethical for a male infant to be "circumcised" while it's not ethical for a female infant to be circumcised?
what's the weakness of strength based perspective
Thank you Anna the video is very informative and we'll articulated. The only thing is you speak very fast. Otherwise, I appreciate your work🤝
