So I know this is a years-old video, but since you're pregnant again, I thought I would say that you don't ever have to apologize for your bump size! You are absolutely gorgeous, and you look so, so healthy. I only have four and people asked me similar things. So frustrating! Don't let them get to you. You're partnering with God to bring life into the world! ❤️
It's actually really sad that kids are mindlessly taught to memorize that in schools without knowing what that means :( they don't even know what they're saying or why and we're the only country that does that. They don't even know what they're doing. And lots of kids in the country have been getting in trouble for not wanting to do it. My kids will definitely not be learning or participating in this in the future and I'm already looking for schools that don't even do this ridiculous practice.
ThermalViolet And why is it “ridiculous” again? How do you know that ALL kids don’t know what they’re saying? That’s a sweeping generalization, is it not? My kids say the pledge and they know exactly what it means because I as their mother didn’t leave them to memorize some meaningless chant, but instead as their primary teacher, I educated them on the words and what they stand for. Just as I did with our national anthem. I’m sorry if you do not understand the meaning yourself, but maybe you should study it before you call the pledge to our Stars and Stripes ridiculous.
@@remoorekable I'm a teacher that's worked in many public schools so sadly I had a decently good idea. I'm there through a lot of how it's been 'taught' in many different places so I'm not generalizing. I didn't realize I was talking to a home schooler in addition to someone that probably is a Trump supporter and blindly follows our country and is a 'proud American' just because we happened to be born here though, too. It's not a sweeping generalization to think kids don't know what the pledge means. If you're living in your bubble/commune thing and your kids know word for word what it means and they love the heck out of a country they had no actual part in being lucky enough to be born in, great. This country isn't even as great as it thinks it is though so I do think our stars and stripes are kinda ridiculous and this conversation is gonna just be over cause we clearly aren't on the same page. You do your kids and I'll keep doing mine and the rest of the country's. Luckily most other kids have pretty good head's on their shoulders out there. I'm not referring to the kids in the video; they are clearly just repeating what they've heard many times over and I'm super new to this channel, I don't know them. I just know the pledge is wrong and the way we teach patriotism is wrong.
I can't stress enough about the importance of outside play. You are creating a wonderful environment for your children's mental health and well being. I really admire your commitment to providing a truly wholesome life for your family.
You do not need to apologize for your baby bump size to anyone. You are beautiful and you have a beautiful family. Ignore the comments. Love how your property is coming about. Can’t wait to see what the kids play area is going to be like. 🙌🏻
Lisa you look so cute!!! You are the perfect size, you are giving your baby the best nutrition. Having had six kiddos myself...you just naturally start to show sooner in the pregnancy. But you will take it off easily when you start to nurse, so ignore the people that should have learned from their mothers "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all"!!!! Enjoy this pregnancy, you are doing fine and you look great!!! 😊
In 1987, (I lived in the US), when I had a home waterbirth, my midwife's fee total, that included all visits, was $800 in a time when every doctor visit cost at least $40 and hospital birth easily $10,000. There was no chance of insurance covering a homebirth back then, and it was so affordable thank goodness. But healthcare is constantly skyrocketing costs. I'm so glad I live in Germany now, and don't even have to think of copays, doctor visits, and other medical care. At my age now, I use a doctor relatively frequently (every 6 weeks for blood tests at least, for a condition I have). When I lived in Canada, I had a 5 day hospital stay and I never saw a medical bill at all. 100% covered
People should realize that every woman is different and every pregnancy can be different. I’m only 5’3 with average build, and I carried larger than most the entire time I was pregnant with both of my boys. I got the twins question multiple times a week. I just smiled and took it in stride because after seeing some people struggle to conceive, I was so grateful to be pregnant even if I was huge. You look beautiful, and I know your kids will love the clubhouse!
God bless you for being so calm and addressing people commenting on your belly size. I wouldn't have apologized for anything and you shouldn't either. Tell those folks to mind their business because you and your baby are healthy. Don't apologize for anything.
Oh Goodness... Seriously people are the worst when someone is pregnant. You look perfect! Don't apologize for your bump... It's the last thing you should apologize for. You are performing the miracle of life! Bless you and your gorgeous family ♥️
We went to the junkyard and got some cool old car odometers, used light switches, and old dials from appliances & we made the kids a cockpit. They used that for years. Also gave them a huge sandpit under the fort where they made a massive open pit mine to move their Tonka trucks around. It was so cool to see where their imaginations went with a few old supplies.
I love the plans for the kids play area and even more so watching as they are already setting their plans in motion. Good job mom and dad, you've raised them well! Meanwhile, I am enjoying watching your journey as you create your homestead and continue to grow your family. As the mom of 6, I know the lifestyle isn't easy but it is oh so rewarding. Much love and many blessings ...
If someone really asked you if you were having twins you handled that so gracefully. I love how you don’t seem to let things affect you! You’ve got too much going on to worry about others comments!
I am only on my second child and I’m still getting the twin remarks and the “are you sure there isn’t 2 in there” and have been since 12 weeks. I know people don’t have ill intent behind it, but it’s still hard to hear. It sits with you and not in a good way. I think you look absolutely fantastic ! So excited to keep following along. Your homestead is a total dream and major #goals
Your not huge by any means. I think people have no filters at all. I’ve never been sure why people feel the need to comment on a persons appearance anyway. You look fabulous.
You look great and in good shape!! I’ll pray for a safe delivery and healthy baby. Your kids are darling. I really like the idea of a bridge going from one tree to the platform. Swings from those branches you mentioned sounds perfect. 👍👍🇺🇸❤️
You look happy and healthy, who cares what people say! I had 5 kids, 3 before 25 and 2 of them in my very late 30's. All of them under 8 pounds. Sometimes I was big sometimes I was small. Some people are just nosy parkers that need to be ignored! We had 13 acres and our kids had a ball making forts and using their imaginations. One kid even started digging and my husband asked what she was doing and she said she was making a pond. My husband went and got the back hoe and made it happen. I wasn't too happy with all the muddy messes that were created but the kids had a great time. All of my children treasure the years we spent on that very rural property and have wonderful memories of their childhoods. I admire what you are creating for your family, God bless you all.
Amen! For all three of my pregnancies I had horrible comments like “you look huge” “you must be having twins” “your baby is gonna be big” (even though all three were in the 6 to 7 pounds range) I hated it!! I’m 5’ 2” so not a ton of room, but it’s never okay to make a pregnant women feel bad about the way they look. I’ve now made it my mission to only lift pregnant women up and tell them how beautiful and amazing they look! So as part of this mission, You look beautiful:)
If the big one has one spike on it, it may be a hornworm. They eat up tomato plants, so make sure you check the stem and underside of the leaves for them. They can be damaging if you have a lot. They're pretty though.
So sorry you felt you needed to help us find our better, more polite selves. Doesn't matter that you put yourself on youtube, contrary to what some people say you are not giving others the right to be rude or insensitive. Pretty sure every one of us can say, Yeah, I SHOULD be doing this or that and I'm not. Also pretty sure each of us gets up each day and orders our days based on those things most important, critical or meaningful to us and the rest doesn't get done. BTW, I never did the exercises either-but I'm not shooting for Mrs. America either. Deep breath, and ignore the too personal, rude or just plain old insensive comments. You're doing great.
I am not sure, but those black worms look like bag worms, they will kill a tree. They make a thick cobweb like nest in a tree. We get them in our apple trees and walnut tree sometimes. My husband cuts off the branch they are on and burns it.
Loved video also liked ur hair pulled back it shows ur pretty face n ur very pretty eyes. Now as for ur pregnancy..... u look great n tell people if u have any comments pls keep them to urself. “ will be happy to have a healthy baby” I’m just as excited as the kids to see the finished product of their play ground. They’re fortunate that daddy knows how to build. Well Lisa, thanks so much for sharing ur life n ur family on Utube can’t wait when the play area is finished n u start on the kitchen God Bless Michelle D♥️
I think you look beautiful! And I really like your hair up like that. 😊 That is going to be a really cool clubhouse!! Can't wait to see how you do the bridge. Your kids will have a blast!! Also exciting to hear that your about to start on your kitchen!! YAY!! Looking forward to that!! Have a wonderful week. God Bless 💗🙏💗
When I was a kid, my best friend had the best play area...the top was a club house, and in the bottom area was a screened in sand box (so no animals could get in) with swings, monkey bars and a slide jutting out in all directions. A small porch swing type thing on the tree would be cool, since you could sit on it with the baby and the kids could sit there and read and stuff too. I agree with you, never comment on a woman's bump other than to tell her how cute it is! Honestly, pregnancy suits you, you look absolutely amazing, and I love your dress! I can't wait to see what Luke comes up with for the playhouse and how the kitchen comes along. Great vlog, I love these style of videos.
I’ve had SO many people tell me I’m huge, ask if I was having twins, ask if I was due soon even when I was weeks away. (I have three) One person told me I had my due date wrong. Umm. Nope. You look beautiful pregnant and that dress is also super cute 😊
haha! My belly was really small when I was pregnant with my daughter, I was 40 weeks pregnant and people were asking me "are you sure?!?!" and "is she just a small baby?!?" She was big and fine and perfectly healthy. I was so glad to have those comments go away after I had her. That and the random belly touching by strangers. ugh.
You are so right about the comments! I am short waisted but tall and my babies went out forward like a tornado. I was constantly asked if I was having twins or triplets. The most offensive comment was, "You look like you have a littler of puppies in there" From a coworker. You look beautiful and healthy ! I love your videos and I am way past the baby/littles stage and live in the city!
Lisa you look beautiful and it really does not matter what size your bump becomes as long as there is a happy, healthy baby in there that is all that really matters. Ignore what anyone says because you're such a petite lady to begin with you really don't need to let others make you annoyed and worried about your shape.
People, while well meaning, have ridiculous comments to pregnant women! I just had my first baby in Feb, I was asked about twins and if I really knew my due date for MONTHS. It was absurd. Thanks for the PSA! And you look amazing, healthy, and so full of life! Love watching your videos, please keep them coming. Stay well :)
Oh my gosh. This is like a step back in time and just feeling all the feels for your family and life ❤️❤️ YOU, Lisa, look absolutely amazing. Your lil’ bump is darling and every time I see it, I’m so happy for you guys. Love how chill you are with your kids. ❤️👍🏼😊
We love being out of doors also and one nature place we went while traveling .. they had a 'natural' place and a few things my kids loved was a large tree trunk table with a stack of tic tac toe pieces (made from tree branch rounds and sticks made into an X with small rope peices.) Also two ropes connected to trees for balance (one to walk on, one to hold by arms).
When I was pg with my first 45 yrs ago people always asked if I was having twins. I was huge, first baby was 9lbs 12oz. By my third I looked pg at 6wks. You look beautiful!
You are beautiful and so is your family!!! You dont have to defend anything🤗 The kids are so smart and happy and are very loved, it is quite apparent😍 The deck around the tree with a bridge connecting to clubhouse is a wonderful idea! Cant wait to see all the progress😁
I love your vlog style videos. Your kids are so lucky to grow up this way!!! Don’t worry about the size comments you’re very small to begin with so of course you’re showing sooner. You look great!! I’m a big gal and didn’t show til around 30 weeks or so with both kids. It could actually be considered a compliment if you think about it. 😉❤️
Lisa, you look wonderful! And you just GLOW!!! I loved Ruthie's comments and leading in this video. She is so smart. She and the other children are just precious!! They certainly are enjoying the new build. They all play so well together. Your property brings back childhood memories of going to my grandmother's in the country. And that was a long, long time ago!!! LOL!!! God bless you all!!
Ahhw you are SO right about the comments on a pregnants woman belly. I have 2 children and people were constantly (throughout the whole pregnancy) telling me how small my belly was. It especially annoyed me during my 2nd pregnancy hehe, because I knew that it was just the way my body was. You look beautiful! Xxx
You look amazing (also something I hated hearing, but you do look great)! Everything looks good outside. I love the chicken updates. You are living my dream! I’m so grateful to have the privilege of watching your homestead come to life! The kids are so cute and I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smooth and easy. Thank you for sharing!
I loved this video! The way you handled the while pregnant women's belly size thing was great! 😂 Enjoy your day/evening. I hope it's Blessed by and in the LORD.
You're so beautiful pregnant pretty lady !!! Don't listen to people trying to tell you about your pregnancy Hun. You know your body better than anyone and this baby is not your first. Some people think they know everything about pregnancies that aren't their own.
I just love your vlogs ...it's so much fun to see how everything is coming along and how you all are doing! I'm so sorry that people have made you feel that you have to defend the size of your tummy! I think you look absolutely beautiful...a radiant mom of (soon to be) 6!! I'm also a mom of six and totally understand. God bless you all!
You're really blooming Lisa. Your veggie patch is really coming on. You've inspired me to start growing a few things myself. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely life x
Ugh! Thank you SO MUCH for telling people to just STOP on the size comments. I've only had 1 baby and got the "ready to pop," comments wayyy too early and also a few twins comments. Seriously. So rude. I'm 5'3' 105 pounds and do not have a long torso. It felt like my baby was about as big as me.
Hi there Lisa and family, Thank you for sharing the progress of the chickens/house. Love seeing the kiddos outside exploring/building/covering the checklist of to-do’s. Wow, playhouse w/ bridge, swings from the trees (very adventurous) look forward to seeing it all done. You look beautiful (love the dress too) Well wishes always to you and yours. Thanks for sharing
You look absolutely beautiful. Your baby bump is perfect. I was pregnant with twins and at 3 months I looked like 6 months. People can be rude. Thank you for sharing this video with us. Take care.
Aw your bump is cute! The kids are sure excited about their new club house, I don’t blame them! What a good time they will have playing in there and around with all the other stuff you have planned! Best wishes for an easy pregnancy and delivery! I was huge with my first pregnancy, I used to tell people I was a watermelon smuggler! TFS ❤️
I just love baby bumps no matter what!! 😍😍😍 Edited to add... I would love to see how the chicken tractor actually moves and how it functions in that aspect.
Love the dress! I’m petite and got twin comments with my first pregnancy 🤰🏼 my baby was only 7 lbs 14 oz. my doc said that I just carry on the outside. Your place looks great! God bless!
My son in law is building a raised playhouse for his daughters- Amazon has a huge slide! Such FUN for the huge truck to deliver because it’s too long for regular delivery 😎
Love your comment about not telling a pregnant woman anything about her size! Heard about my “twins” from 20 weeks on. I hated when people asked when I was due because they would always remark about how big I was for having so long to go. Meh! You look beautiful!
Truer words I've never heard! People commented on how big I was through my whole pregnancy and it drove me insane. I kept thinking, "when did this become ok? Where have all their manners gone?"
Oh my goodness, your children are awesome! I think the pointy thing on caterpillars is called the horn! I love their imaginations and curiosity! I’m 21 weeks with our second child and I showed way earlier this time than last! Our bodies are so amazing at jumping right back into pregnancy each time and knowing exactly what to do!
Aw you look radiant in your 21 weeks pregnant body, who cares how big or small the bump is!!! Your beautiful ❤️ Your children will have the most amazing play area out in the fresh air, even when it rains a little, get the galoshes out 😄 I love to watch my younger grandchildren playing in my small back garden, they have a play fort with slide they love it and it does them good ❤️😘🤰
I love your big yard and the wide spaces for the kids to play! What about a zip line from one of the trees to clubhouse? I like the tire swing idea, also.😊❤️
Ok, beautiful mother of 5 with the 6th coming in the fall, that play structure is awesome! The kids are going to play both on it and underneath it. Maybe you can get one of those seasonal pools, nothing too fancy or big. I used to have one in a sunny spot in my backyard and I would fill it with the hose in the morning, and have the kids wait for a couple of hours to let the water warm up from the sun. When the cold weather arrives, empty it and put it in the barn. Also, there are some domes for climbing that would work well for the little ones. And one of those round swinging things that you could hang from one tree. Those are around 50 bucks and can fit 2-3 kids at once. Just do a google search. And if you really want your kids to have a great time, either have Luke make a sand box or just get a couple of litter trays from Walmart( I know! ) and fill them up with sand. Add some sand toys and watch them play for hours. I hope this may help you advance the play area project. You were right to do it now, kids need to play as much as they need food and water.

FARM HOUSE ON BOONE is "old school" fun, educational big time, and brimming over with love! 💙
You and your bump look beautiful you have wonderful kids and your farm is awesome! ....xo
You don't have to answer to anyone. You look great! Loved the video and catching up on what's going on in your life.

When I had my 3rd son 2 weeks after he was born the mailman asked me when I was due! I burst into tears 😭
Priceless.......yes a hammock, a zip line with a sprinkler underneath, a small bouncing trampoline somewhere.....

Watch the old Swiss Family Robinson movie for playground/fort ideas. That was my dream treehouse when I was a kid.
AndreaJane yyyyyeeeesssssss
OMGosh yesssss!!!
Genius idea.
This is brilliant
Oh gosh yes! And to think, everything from that came from nature. Lol
How about a fireman's pole for an additional exit from the clubhouse? Or a slide down to a sandpit? Or a rope web or net?
Cerridwen Rowan ohhh! Alll of the above 👍🏼
Definitely need a short zip line from the tree to a nice size sand pit. Love this video and how exited your children are about their play area.

This is one of my most favourite of all your videos. You made me Louth out load a couple times. Your property is truly heavenly!!

I’ve had SO many people tell me I’m huge, ask if I was having twins, ask if I was due soon even when I was weeks away. (I have three) One person told me I had my due date wrong. Umm. Nope. You look beautiful pregnant and that dress is also super cute 😊
You look beautiful!! You never have to defend your bump or yourself! Love you Have a great day
haha! My belly was really small when I was pregnant with my daughter, I was 40 weeks pregnant and people were asking me "are you sure?!?!" and "is she just a small baby?!?" She was big and fine and perfectly healthy. I was so glad to have those comments go away after I had her. That and the random belly touching by strangers. ugh.
Aw you look so pretty and glowing in this vlog! Loving your vlogs!💕
So lovely to see your precious children being able to play outside and be safe, treasure each moment many blessings from South Africa💟
Your kids and hubby are the best! You look great, people are just crazy!
You look radiant and beautiful! The kids are so sweet!
You're property will be every kids dream!!! So exciting, can't wait to see the progress!!! Thanks for sharing 😊
Love the playground ideas Lisa!! A swinging bridge would be cute. Blessings sweet lady!!
Thank you so much!
I loved this video! The way you handled the while pregnant women's belly size thing was great! 😂 Enjoy your day/evening. I hope it's Blessed by and in the LORD.
Oh wow... a bridge. Best play house plan I've ever seen.
You're so beautiful pregnant pretty lady !!! Don't listen to people trying to tell you about your pregnancy Hun. You know your body better than anyone and this baby is not your first. Some people think they know everything about pregnancies that aren't their own.
Lisa ... as always, watching your lil fam brings so much joy ~ thanx for sharing your day!!!
You don't look big you look just fine and healthy! Blessings! Can't wait to see the new kitchen!
Childhood dreams - they will remember these days
A steering wheel and binoculars are always a favourite at any playground with my kids
You're really blooming Lisa.
Your veggie patch is really coming on. You've inspired me to start growing a few things myself. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely life x
You look fab and so happy you and your family have just the right property and house! Love it all!
How about 2 identical slides side by side so they can race each other. Or a rock climbing wall to get up? A sand box?
You look absolutely gorgeous. I love the life you’re living. So simple and sweet.
Yay! Thanks for sharing! I am due 2 months after you💕 I love all your videos!
You look absolutely beautiful. Your baby bump is perfect. I was pregnant with twins and at 3 months I looked like 6 months. People can be rude. Thank you for sharing this video with us. Take care.
You are glowing and that is all that matters!
Huge??? That's crazy!! You look perfect!!
Honestly such a simple video but it made my day thank you☺
Really enjoyed the video and watching progress at the farmhouse! You look really well, Lisa! Kind regards from Penny in Liverpool 🇬🇧😊💕
You're beautiful!! And so is your family.
God bless you all.
Edited to add... I would love to see how the chicken tractor actually moves and how it functions in that aspect.
You are glowing! So beautiful. Such a lovely family. So happy for all of you. xoxo
Lovely, lovey momma! 💗. I love following along with your family and all the projects! Many blessings from a momma of 5! 💗
I’m routing for October 9th, that’s my birthday. You look great, just as long as you and baby are healthy!!!
I love your day in the life videos! Thank you for letting us come along with you on your journey. You are such a big inspiration to me!
You look great! I am about 9 weeks with baby #6 and have been told I look 4 months along. Some people just don't think before speaking.
Yes, that is so true!
Your great and so is your baby bump! 😀
I would love to see a suspension bridge between the two. Great play area!! "Would you please comment..." so cute!!!
You are truly an inspiration for me u give me so much hope. Love u . Stay blessed.
What a cool playground!! Love that idea! I’m looking forward to seeing the kitchen renovation process. Take care and your bump is adorable!
