  • Indulge in a delicious Italian Sausage & Spinach Rigatoni pasta dish! This hearty meal features a savory meat sauce and is perfect for any pasta lover. Let's be honest, spaghetti can get a bit repetitive. This, on the other hand, steps it up a notch!
    Here's the recipe:
    - Mild Italian Ground Sausage (1 lb.)
    - Chucky Tomato, Garlic, & Onion Pasta Sauce (24oz)
    - Rigatoni
    - Spinach (As much or as little as you’d like; I used two handfuls.)
    - Onion (As much or as little as you’d like; I used about 1/4 of a small onion.)
    - 1 Tsp Minced Garlic
    - 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
    - 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
    - Black Pepper (to your liking)
    - Salt (Just a pinch, if needed!)
    - Sugar (Optional, but it helps cut through the acidity of the sauce. Also, to your liking.)
    1. Brown your sausage. If you’re a fan of heat, try the hot Italian ground sausage.
    2. Add in onions and garlic and allow it release its flavor for about 1-2 minutes.
    3. Add in seasonings and jarred sauce. Allow it to simmer on LOW. TASTING IS IMPORTANT WITH THIS MEAL. Because we are using sausage, the salt level varies. This is why I said to taste first then salt as needed.
    4. While this simmers on low and the flavors come together, cook your pasta. Follow boxed instructions, if needed.
    5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and return to pot. Add rinsed spinach.
    6. Combine meat sauce and pasta.
    7. Serve and enjoy!
    *Adding cheese is a must for me.
