I am an 4th year student of b Arch and I want to work for government sector in architecture I want to give UPSC exam for assistant architect can you plz guide me what and how I can achieve this
Thankyou so much for uploading a video on this topic! This was really needed :) listening to the conversation of an experienced architect cleared many confusion. Before choosing architecture as my career i wanted to know about it clearly, and it helped a lot. It would be very helpful if you please discuss what are the entrance exams for architecture after passing 12th standard, and also the salary rate of an architect in India.

Great video, mam. I have one question, when we are in the architecture college is there any possibility that we can practice animation or 3D designing/animation ?
I will be clear with you. People in India think whoever is good with drawing can excel in architecture. But the truth is it is a different world. And the B.Arch is very hectic. Even though you will have some opportunities to try your hand with various 3D softwares it is not like what we all imagine in the beginning. The course requires a very high commitment. Almost always you have to work all the night as a student to produce number of technical drawings the next day. It's got very little to do with your drawing and painting skills as a kid. If you are interested in animation and 3D i suggest you just do animation not architecture. Both are different worlds
