I hope you're all doing great! Here is the video I mentioned that goes into depth about aphids & tells how to make the garlic/soap solution I spoke about. ua-cam.com/video/YYwISCQbe4w/v-deo.html To clarify, Castile soap originated in the Mediterranean area but is available in the U.S.
Great tips I have aphids in my apple tree right now So we have to harvest all the fruits And sprayed the whole tree with water I will try the castile soap solution that you mentioned if they don’t disappear I hope you are doing well ❤
Hi Valerie, I am so glad you are back, too Yes, I have problems with aphids on my peppers I am thankful you shared your way of taking care of them Great tips as always ❤
You’re welcome. They usually have a guide to show the correct dilution for various applications. I don’t remember the specific amount for pest control, so be sure to check online first 💚😊
Aphids haven’t shown up in the garden yet Hawaii zone12b but the spider mites have all over eggplant tomatoes potatoes and peppers ugh 😢 Glad to see you’re back your video are great short and to the point with good intro and recap.
Thank you for your encouragement. I’m sorry to hear you’re fighting spider mites. In my opinion, they might even be worse than aphids due to their sheer numbers! Wishing you the best
Aphids, beetles, leaf minors, slugs, rabbits, squirrels, birds..... It's a never ending battle. Growing the plants is the easy part. Thank you for the tips 😁
That’s a rough selection. Sounds like my family back home in the US. They fight one thing after another year-round. It makes me feel a little guilty for complaining about aphids haha
Well... I've planted roughly 17 marigolds so far and the birds have killed 11 so far along with several of my cucumber plants (literally pulled whole baby plants right out of the bed, it was crows), a few of my little corn babies and 4 of my bush beans. I've been having ant problems with my apple tree, blueberry bushes, blackberry bushes, camomile and calendula. It's one thing after another. Last year was awful for me with aphids and this year so far just isn't going well either between the birds and the ants.. aphids probably not far behind.
That sounds like a nightmare. Bugs are one things but crows are quite another! They are so darn smart and can undo a garden in no time. I haven’t had problem in my garden, but our local farmers have doubled their scarecrows and bird deterrents this year.

Thank You! I’ll be watching the video you’ve linked next! My poor pin cherry is being annihilated by the same kind of aphids 😔
Great información Valeria. Now I know. Thanks for sharing.

I get aphids too on my pepper plants! I got into companion planting with specific flowers like merrigolds that attract ladybugs 🌱🌱💚💚
Peppers are really magnet for them. Glad you found a solution that works for you!
Good to see you Valerie! ❤️
We have had a lot of problems this year with squash bugs! 🫤
Great video my friend.
Thank you, Barb💚 I’m sorry to hear you’ve been having squash bug problems-not fun to deal with those!

Thank you for your kind words😊 Good luck with your peppers and getting the aphid under control! Have a great weekend 😍
Garlic water, interesting. I'll definitely use some of my garlic for that. Thanks.
Thank you! Make sure to patch test before you apply it all over since some plants are more sensitive than others.
Great information!! Thank you so much!! I'm a big fan of castile soap! Good to know I can use it in the garden!

@@NowGardening no feeling guilty lol you have some really bad infestations of aphids on the plants in the video. Have a great weekend 🌞
1 teaspoon of table salt, 1 teaspoon of dish soap in a small mister bottle, filled with water, spray the underside of leaves.
Thanks for sharing, Jimbo. Always good to have a Plan B 👍🏻
Which country is it please?
My garden is in France
I've never had aphids... *knocks on wood* so I'm guessing my Marigolds help a lot.
Count yourself lucky. With the exception of perhaps stink bugs(shield bugs), they are probably my biggest garden pest.
