Great recommendations, Valerie. I’m especially interested in the grow bags. I bought these grow lights from Amazon a couple of years ago. Great quality, value and easy to set up on my shelving units. I was so pleased with them I added another 6 pack set this year! $89.00 Canadian and they have a 20% coupon on the sight right now.
Barrina 2FT T8 Grow Light, 144W(6 x 24W, 800W Equivalent), Full Spectrum Sunlight LED Grow Light Bulbs for Indoor Plant Growing, with V-Shaped Reflector, Pinkish White, 6 Pack.

Hi Sheila! Thanks for sharing what’s been working for you. I love these grow bags. Just harvested a crop of new potatoes last weekend from them. I’m about to wash mine and get ready to try some summer crops in them. I really want to see how cucumber do in them.

Great idea for a follow up to your last video! I'll add SZHLUX 8700 lumen 4' LED shop lights, I bought a six-pack of them last spring for $90 USD, I see they're selling them for $80 now. I set up two approx 3' x 5' growing areas using two lights each. I also put one in my pantry which was the best move I've made in a decade, I still have one left. They draw 60 watts each so my growing areas consume 240 watts total for 30 sq feet of growing area or 8 w/ft sq. In contrast I also have a Bloomspect SL600 that draws 180 watts at full power and it has only a 2' x 2' growing area (although from practical experience it can be stretched to 3' x 3' with occasional plant rotation) so 9 square ft of growing area using 20w/ft sq. I did all my tomato starts, onion starts, petunias, peppers, etc. under the shop lights last spring and they did great. They also provided on-demand cilantro all winter while the bloomspect light ended up doing lettuce pretty much exclusively, it's a little intense for a lot of things but lettuce loves it. Drawbacks are that the lights only come with two plug-in cords with switches. More can be purchased. I believe there are five double-ended cords included that you can use to daisy-chain up to four lights together. The switches seem cheap, I doubt they'd hold up to repeated use but I just leave them on and control the on/off cycles with a timer.
Always stoked when I see you've put up a new video, cheers! :)

Hi Jim, thanks for your comments and sharing your purchases! I will definitely look into those because you probably noticed I was missing a grow light recommendation. I’ve got some that work well enough but they’re not of a quality I would recommend to anyone. Again, thanks so much and have a great weekend! 😊

The galvanised mesh is excellent under chicken runs and housing to exclude rats.

YES!! I have had that larger Amazon shelving unit in my save for later pile for two years now. Glad to see it comes recommended! The Galvanized Steel "Hardware Cloth" has been a life saver in my garden against the squirrels, possums, racoons and chipmunks. I am excited to see this list of yours as I am also using a Bone Meal and other amendments that worked well this past season. Looking forward to spring to get better and better each year. Thanks for the suggestions and reviews. 😎❤

After redoing my entire front yard, I gave myself a gift: a 304 stainless steel spade. It has a solid hardwood handle and the most glorious shiny metal spade. It doesn't rust or discolor, and is as durable as forks and knives. Inexpensive? Nope, but so pretty and useful. It also works very well, cutting through the soil easily.
Later on, I found a stainless steel trowel for planting small plants. So happy with both purchases.

I personally kind of make do with whats at hand in my garden, probably why its only partially successful, still enjoyable vids, keep them coming...
P s...The guy that mentioned the water bottle buckets being stiched in China has made a fair point, still youre honest and transparent with your findings

No worries. I knew I would get beat up. Our supply chains are a disaster and shipping fabric from the US to China is only one part of it. I used to work in Supply chain (rough 10 years of my life) before quitting to tend a garden instead😊 Anyway, he was wrong to assume they were shipped to me in France, though. I bought them while in the US visiting my girls. Hope you’re doing well and the weather isn’t too unpleasant this time of year. We had 18° and sunny today-unbelievable!

Feel free to reach out if that's the case. I'm not sponsored by any of these brands, but I am an Amazon affiliate with means Amazon throws a few pennies my way when you buy something from my links.

It really is so hard to do. Finding the true country of origin is tricky since many brands will set up US or European offices to mislead consumers that their products came from there. Good luck with your purchases!
