Yea carebara diversa, amazing ant species. Just be prepared for terra transformation within that habitat as they grow, you won't get to keep what is there visually anymore.
Thanks for the info, theyl be a video shortly I bet with all the plants withered and dead haha. Might get some fake plants as I think that's what alot of people have done. Thanks for watching though :)
They seemed so happy to have something to dig into :) think theyl be moving into a 140lt tank next few months 😄 hoping they last till end of May in thus setup so I can save for antcon without forking out for a tank
Love this video watched it on my phone but needed to see it on a decent screen . You really nailed it with the queen moving,so glad you filmed it so well . They do look amazing when viewed like that. Will be interesting when they grow and go on a march with the super majors .
I got a phonecard halfway thru and was like hi yep yep bye lmao she stayed heading towards the open end as they were talking, I was like I'm not missing this move for a call bye haha. Was a great maybe hour max watching ants while they all moved.
It's so cute how the little workers protect their mother and stand on her. What a wonderful colony you've gotten your hands on!
Thankyou, I 100% agree, such cute little queen riders 😀
I love the size difference between the queen and the workers
I think they might have the biggest size diff between biggest and smallest ant in a colony to be fair. Can't wait for supermajors

Nice new colony! I’m excited to see you get some supermajors!
Thanks, should be a great journey
great video man
Thanks mate 👍
Great video bud 👍. Love how tentative they are when they first start exploring. How many different species are you on now?
They tippy toed around till they all rushed out and claimed the nest haha. I think 15 maybe 😄
@@Antymatters Phowarrrr! Racking those numbers up! Do you ever find yourself missing seeing the queen and brood in natural set ups?
we are going to have to do a collaboration with these girls and compare your naturalistic set up to my artificial set up.
100% I didn't feel as bad loosing ky queen into the dirt because I can still see you're to haha 😆
Well people say they only really do well in naturalistic set us so to be able to compare ours I think will be great for the viewers!
Yh it would be great for myself as a viewer
Pls do that lol
