Well, I can fullheartedly agree. The good shepherd gives his live for the sheep and is not always welcome. He has his sheep on his heart. To be a shepherd is the most valuable task a man can have. Nowadays people go around like sheep who have no shepherd. Nobody wants to do this ministry and nobody can do this ministry but only a shepherd! Christ: I am the good shepherd the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. Paul: For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. For such a ministry we have to be a minister of the new covenant. Who also has made us able ministers of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life. May God bless you in your service as a good shepherd in the tradition of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, all the prophets, Jesus Christ our dear Lord and Saviour, the apostles and all those holy men who were able and willing to do this great service.
Amen!

Christ: I am the good shepherd
the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
Paul:
For none of us lives to himself, and no man dies to himself.
For whether we live,
we live unto the Lord;
and whether we die,
we die unto the Lord:
whether we live therefore,
or die, we are the Lord's.
For to this end Christ
both died,
and rose,
and revived,
that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
