I think Misbah blaming herself fits the storyline... there was the crash when she saved Yasmin and left Imran, and that lead to the domestic violence. Recently a line from her, on her rape storyline, saying that was why she never really conected with her son. I am not saying she should blame herself, but it fits the story they are telling.
I’m so proud hollyoaks have done a storyline like this! It’s amazing! And brilliant for awareness. As someone who has a eating disorder myself , I can relate to this atm xx and I’m glad they’re bringing awareness so everyone can understand it so much better xxx

They did a body dysmorphia storyline a few years ago with Jason Roscoe, I can't recall any other soaps doing stories like this with male characters but it's really important to get the message out there that this is happening to so many people.

Misbah is a semi-decent mom at best, at least as far as I'm concerned. - When he was little, Irnan wasn't problematic at all. It was tecitirno, it was definitely an ornament. - When they had the accident he saves his daughter, and yes, it's living proof that Misbah has a favorite in the family. I don't buy the story of "I knew you would save yourself", or the "I didn't have time to ...." When clearly she doesn't care much about Irman, whether he's dead or alive ... Now that Sami and the rest of the children have either settled in other houses or moved to other cities, Misbah realizes that Irman exists too ... too easy.

First Richard Harris who played Dumbledore in the first two movies (then he was recasted with Michael Gambon) then Alan Rickman who played Severus Snape (I still don’t know how Snape’s the Half-Blood Prince in the sixth book and movie btw) and now Robbie Coltrane who played Rubeus Hagrid? Well, men are better at hiding their eating disorders because it's often referred to as the "illness for girls", so they're often shamed for struggling with it. And we haven't had a male eating disorder storyline since 2015.

Sadly, shes always blamed herself. Like when Yasmin was supposedly self harming (she didn’t) she blamed herself for it.
