Me and a mate went to your ground many years ago ,before the game went into a weds pub , the only Millwall fans in the place , but the supporters were great and really friendly ,had such a good time we all ended up dancing on the tables . My mate got so pissed ,he spent the whole game chucking up outside the ground and missed the whole game . Anyway hope things get better for you and you start getting some better results .

TRY over SIXTY years attending Millwall games as I enter my 8th decade next May:) Went to Hillsborough once when Millwall won 1/0 on 29th March 1975 so just 47 years ago and the time has flown by. Been to 84 different grounds and 1,770 matches. One bit of advice: KEEP A DIARY with just 10 lines each day and in 40 years you will be amazed at what things you have forgotten or were different. I went to Chelsea v Norwich with 10,000 Norwich fans in 1968 in a crowd of 58,000 and definitely thought it was 4/1 but it was 1/0 LOL
ISLEOFSKY that was my first time going to Hillsborough, was just a kid could not believe how big the ground was, Yeah 1-0 recall Burnett scored while he was on loan, Then like now weds were struggling at the bottom and that season we went down with them sadly to the 3rd tier, must be our best and biggest win at sheffield weds, i always think of weds as being a bigger club than united if i am being honest, Likea lot of clubs they look in need of a scorer, shame Gregory is now coming to the end of his career, its funny with the crowds weds get a few millwall fans would be expecting them to be playing in Europe if wall were the same ha, Maybe Rowett might end up there !

Newcastle etc but hard to split, both are great,poperr Football Clubs but, you are right, Wednesday are, potentially, the biggest and would have been my team there.I feel sorry for them since 2/0 up in The 1966 Cup Final and lost 3/2 to Everton..I liked Lee at Millwall and yes it was Dennis Burnett.I remember "The Pink'Un" newspaper after the game with the results. As for Rowettball,I know The Owls would take anyone but I would not inflict his "style" on anyone. Never has "Life is too short" been more appropriate mate:)
I thought Millwall's players were a lot more skillfull than ours, but that goes down to the bad signings in the summer and the Moore and Chansiri debasco leaving us behind in the recruitment. In some ways, however, we're not far off scoring, so I have to remain hopeful. The defence was poor though and needs addressing.
Good honest blog, fella. I feel your pain. I've been there more times than I'd like to admit as a 4th generation millwall fan. The championship is a different animal to LG1 . You didn't upgrade your squad. This is why you are where u are. Hope the rest of the season you could put a few wins together. Chin up, son. From a Millwall fan.
The reason we didn’t upgrade our squad the right way is because we had a rubbish manager (Xisco), a bad recruitment team and we left our signings for later on in pre season instead of earlier on
He should have been for boring us rigid for years despite our final positions. I understand he resigned, then realized no compensation and eventually it was by mutual consent so you are right in that he was not sacked.
We need to realise we haven't much hope of staying up with this set of players simple as that. That's not Danny and his backroom staff which need definitely keeping. The chairman and munoz got us in this position we didn't strengthen with any quality hence our position
Our recruitment team was not good enough when we had Xisco I don’t think the signings Xisco were not good enough that’s why we are in this mess and that’s why we need to rebuild even more in January to have any chance of staying up

Nonsense. MILLWALL has a MUCH better squad than last season where we missed the playoffs having been 3/1 up at home and lost on the last day. Millwall has NEVER lost a Home game when 2 goals ahead and I am in my 7th decade of attending matches. We now have an attacking coach and watch us climb. Millwall broke the league record with 59 unbeaten Home games but under defensive Rowett, we have won 6/22 at home. Our worst ever record. I FULLY understand why you think that but you are not to know that Millwall are much better than their league position,my friend.
