    I just switched from T Mobile Magenta paying $90 per month to Mint. I purchased a Pixel 8a and got $100 off phone and 12 months unlimited phone service for 1/2 price. So with new Google Pixel phone and 12 months Unlimited for only $180 for entire year (6 months free), I am all in for under $600 for entire year. Past 2 years on T Mobile on T Mobile was over $2200. Next 2 years with Mint will be around $900. Over $1200 in my pocket and I live in Northern NJ and have had NO CHANGE IN MY SERVICE on MINT.

    Thanks my dude!! I'm just waiting to switch from Tmobile to Mint until I get the new iPhone. I doubt it's gonna suddenly NOT be compatible, but Apple's been getting odd about the big companies, so I need to make sure the new iPhone will even HAVE an unlocked option. I can't imagine they wouldn't but STILL... haha! Thanks for the vid!

    Me being a truck driver im using total wireless from verizon has been really good and I had tmobile as a secondary line on my iPhone and rarely used it. I had the secondary line to cover my self in areas where verizon is little to no signal and that is where T Mobile came in. So with Mint Mobile I should expect good service I don’t really stream except for using spotify and some youtube and tiktok.

      Mint is definitely good enough for simple tasks like social media and Spotify. I recommend it. Feel free to use the link in description to get the best price 👍🏾

    Just remember all MM plan prices are pre tax.
    Also there are way more phones that can be used on MM than ATT or Verizon or any of the MVNOs that run on their networks

      Yup, just like everything else you buy, doesn't include tax. And yes, more phones are GSM compatible than CDMA

    Hmmm sounds like if your an urban dweller that carrier might work well. With the cost of everything, this sounds like a good alternative.

    • @DanielsTechStudio
      @DanielsTechStudio  6 місяців тому

      Most definitely. If you are in more rural areas, it's a toss up between all the carriers and which will actually work

      Hundred percent the truth. I live in Alberta Canada and it annoys me to this day that the network coverage is of poor quality (all carriers Bell, Telus, Rogers et al) especially with the prices

    Serious question: what are you doing on your phone that you would benefit from speeds above 2-300 megs down? Other than downloading very large files I can't tell the diff between 100 and 500

    • @DanielsTechStudio
      @DanielsTechStudio  6 місяців тому +4

      Good question. I'm sure there are lots of "power users" out there who are live streaming, or playing intensive online games, game streaming like Xbox game cloud, streaming 4k videos while multitasking, etc.
      But I agree that there is definitely a threshold where the difference in speed is not noticeable, but that threshold may be different for some people depending on their usage.

      How often you are on WiFi I think is the determining factor. If it's a lot then you should be good.

    They like boost mobile use t mobile towers which are horrible and it network keeps disconnecting

    • @DanielsTechStudio
      @DanielsTechStudio  4 місяці тому +2

      I haven't experienced any disconnection issues on mint mobile in the 3+ months I used it. Just slightly slower speeds which still didn't affect day to day usage.

      Pretty much. That's how it is for all cell service providers

    • @Ronniejamesleo
      @Ronniejamesleo 4 місяці тому

      Not U.S cellular. It's about the best when it comes to service. These prepaid phone carriers all rent t mobile towers so you get third tier service.@@DanielsTechStudio

    Mint Mobile is T-Mobile.

    Stopped at 25 seconds. Your credibility would’ve been higher if you first bought mint mobile personally. Used it for 3+ months, then give a review.

      Then you no doubt know about how many times a day you get randomly disconnected from the network. Mint is no different than boost mobile. Both get second rate service because they to use t mobile towers.

    Mint works pretty well on windows as well. As long as the sim supports your modem, you can get service. Haven't found a way to use phone services but works great for youtube music and even youtube

    It’s not $15 because after all the fees it’s more like $20/Mo
    They want $15 plus like random fees which ends up being $60 for 3 months ,

      Which is still less than 1 month of service on ATT or VZN or even TMO.
      But yes, the $15/month is a three month trial.
      You still have to pay the Federal, State and Local taxes and fees. This is no different from the rates advertised by ATT, TMO or VZN.
      There are a few carriers that just include them. Visible by Verizon is all-in pricing. Their $25/month or $45/month are exactly that. Taxes and fees included.
      If that's a big deal, and Verizon service fits your use case, maybe Visible is a better choice.
      If TMO is the best carrier in your area, Mint is a solid choice.
      When I did the 3 month trial, they didn't even suggest the $30/month unlimited. Their suggestion was the 15GB plan for $20/month.
      I think with taxes and fees, it was closer to $23/month. But, on the other hand, I had a $90 referral, so my all in cost was in the $180-$190 range IIRC for 12 months of service.
      YMMV as taxes and fees depend on your state and local taxes on telecom.

      Taxes and fees are minimal since it's 1 time for 12 month prepay. Much better than monthly. Comes out to like $16.50 vs. $15.00
