Gotta say I wouldn’t be shocked if people like Derek started pulling out of future races if something isn’t done about marshalling/driver control. He seemed pretty genuinely shaken up and for good reason, if a truck had plowed into his roof it could have been lights out. At some point it becomes not worth engaging just for the novelty and views when there are safer venues out there, especially for a guy that’s got mouths to feed.
I was thinking the same thing with the roof so exposed on its side. The comforting thing was that it look liked the racers listened in the drivers meeting and stopped as quickly and safely where they were at without going around for another lap once the REDFLAG came out.
It would also help to make sure fatbodies like the one that decided to hit Derek, knowing he didnt have the room at the bottom to make the turn safely, didnt race at all.
One of the best moments of the night was watching James flip his truck, get flipped back over and continue to race, seeing Derek go back in with a banged up smoking truck was second, third was seeing that AWD VR4 come in and dominate.
The danger ranger seemed more exciting than all other races! Much cleaner racing! 👍 I think the fancy paint jobs made it look like a real Nascar event.
They brought their own vehicles that they bought and worked on, instead of being seated in a ready made car. And they are not UA-camrs with suddenly too much money on their hands. They made it a really fun and yet absolutely clean race.
I feel like the previous owner of this track, can't remember his name, would be smiling from head to toe because this beloved track is bringing 1000s of people enjoyment once again. fantastic work guys. this track purchase and all of the following ones to get it to this stage, well worth it!!
I was so glad to see Derek was okay. Dont much care for a Ranger, but a guy sure wouldnt like seeing anything happen to him. Cleets a close second, but VGG is still my favorite channel
Awesome event Cleet! Next race please incorporate a few more rules like not using other cars as brakes when going into corners! It sucked to see so many people taken out by someone not knowing how to pass correctly! Appreciate all your doing for the racing scene! 👍
Wasn't the danger ranger open to anyone to enter? I mean if it's a publicly open event to enter yourself and your truck into you can't expect the racing to be done in professional way, I agree it sucks when people get taken out early by someone else's carelessness but when its open to the public like I believe this event was, you gotta adjust your expectations of the actual quality of racing. I think this was more about the fun than the technical racing aspects!!
the race was awesome, and it is supposed to be a rough race, but number 22 was trying to make sure that we never have another similar event there ever again and I don't appreciate that
After further review you might question the fact that there was a pit maneuver used by FBK boys that caused Derrick to flip his truck early in the race which should in all fairness penalize him at least one lap and disqualify his win. Watch fbk video of the race
“Thanks for not cheating” to the guy who almost killed two people in a UA-cam race. That loser should have been black flagged and If nobody puts him in the wall at lemullets I’d be pretty surprised. Awesome race, great PPV, totally undeserved victory for those New Pork boys.

It’s truly impressive how much your fans respect you after hearing you say there wasn’t much trash left. It used to take 4 of us nearly an hour to clean a grandstand a third of the size 😂😂
VGG had video clips of 22 hitting him from the inside I don’t see how anyone with a functional brain could blame him (VGG) unless they just plane don’t like him... 22 was driving dirty the whole race..
@@doubleT84 I somewhat agree. I've watched several videos and replayed the PPV. The 22 was dive-bombing the corners fully on the apron. I don't think Derek was expecting anyone to be there. As it's not the racing surface or line. They need to paint a line around the track to show the designated racing surface. Hell even Cleet went down there and was pushing the 22 when he hit Derek.
12:23 I heard what you said right there Cleet… 😉 That’s rare audio, considering how you usually are during your videos. This race was crazy! So glad I was able to watch it! You’re the man Cleetus!!! 🤘🏻
Clearly looks like Derek held his line and contact was made when the 22 car slid up into him. Appeared to be the technique that was used to win. Its not a short track race I would be willing to participate in. Could have been a life changing incident that should not be allowed / encouraged.
He took every corner sharp and swung out, demo race style. You can see cleet steer wide halfway thru the previous corner to avoid getting taken out. Only got away with it because it's a novelty race. Would've been kicked from any "real" race for that bs
Not sure what the driver of the 22 has for a background in racing but it appeared like it was not his first time on a track and knew how to move people. Number #1. that move was way too early in the race and I hope he did not mean to wreck just move Derek.
Watch 77's maneuver at 12:29. Like wtf this moron could cause some damage, he carved across the racing line occupied by 2 trucks side by side. Originally thought this was 22, but was actually 77. My comment stil stands lol.

@@hondaryderz a locked diff would be a disadvantage on an oval though. The wheel on the outside of the corner turns more times than the wheel on the inside of the corner, so if they were locked you'd lose traction. It's part of why oval tracks are actually able to have interesting races - take the inside line qnd you follow a shorter course, but go high and take the outside line and you can carry more speed. The drivers skill is in finding the right balance to the approach, the mechanics skill is in setting up the car optimally for the corner length and bank angle. That's why you'd want an LSD instead of lockers.

This comment aged well.
This is just so amazing. This is what America is. God bless them and everyone who supports.
I have a feeling 22 will be taken out pretty fast in lemullets.
I hope so.
Shouldn't be let in. Same with the guy who took out jackstand
@@masterbates7016 JH Diesel flipped Jackstand. JH is always crashing into everyone like 22 "FBK Racing" was
Same with jh right? I mean he flipped James and wrecked Parker…. Or is that different being he’s a UA-camr?
Jh will get his to I'm sure. Lol. Sorry I didn't go through the list lol.
One of the best moments of the night was watching James flip his truck, get flipped back over and continue to race, seeing Derek go back in with a banged up smoking truck was second, third was seeing that AWD VR4 come in and dominate.
I thought it was funny dereks truck comes back smoking and James was turning the key seconds after the wheels hit the grass
i laughed out loud soon as i heard that starter cranking when they tipped him back over, knew he was going back in
The danger ranger seemed more exciting than all other races! Much cleaner racing! 👍
I think the fancy paint jobs made it look like a real Nascar event.
I think it was cleaner racing because people spent their own time and money on the trucks and didn't wanna trash them completely
They brought their own vehicles that they bought and worked on, instead of being seated in a ready made car.
And they are not UA-camrs with suddenly too much money on their hands. They made it a really fun and yet absolutely clean race.
It really is incredible the kind of event you’re able to put on: That has to be so much work for your team.
I’ll be dipped!!!!
Awesome event Cleet! Next race please incorporate a few more rules like not using other cars as brakes when going into corners! It sucked to see so many people taken out by someone not knowing how to pass correctly! Appreciate all your doing for the racing scene! 👍
lol everyone asked for this last time. they don't care. just want you to pay for the PPV
Especially because he ended up winning after pit maneuver on multiple cars and smashing other cars the whole race
@@ryanmcbee1927 and now the idiot gets a spot in the 2.4hrs of Le Mullets he was driving dirty the entire race

The driver that does a pit maneuver should be sent to the back of the line to take away the incentive for such an unsportsmanlike move!

I love the transparency of Cletus he always explains that so openly. It’s so awesome
the race was awesome, and it is supposed to be a rough race, but number 22 was trying to make sure that we never have another similar event there ever again and I don't appreciate that
After further review you might question the fact that there was a pit maneuver used by FBK boys that caused Derrick to flip his truck early in the race which should in all fairness penalize him at least one lap and disqualify his win. Watch fbk video of the race
Shouldnt be allowed back
Especially when the drivers meeting stated no rough driving. Dude bashed his way to the front

“Thanks for not cheating” to the guy who almost killed two people in a UA-cam race. That loser should have been black flagged and If nobody puts him in the wall at lemullets I’d be pretty surprised. Awesome race, great PPV, totally undeserved victory for those New Pork boys.
I was gonna say he will gave a target on his back at LeMullets. James and Derek didn't seem too pleased with him.
i hope they come to their senses and ban him from the track, people are gonna end up getting hurt...
Does anyone know why people were pissed at the real street truck (Darin I think his name is) fans behind me were calling him a cheater
The worst part was he seemed to blame VGG for the damage to his truck.
lol by your logic, JH almost killed James so he should be banned too right? get the fuck out of here
The fact that you showed vicegripgarage is a huge deal. He is a legend and so are you!!
I was FULLY expecting Cleetus to yell, “Watch the grass @ 12:32. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Whoever was in 22 drove without regard to morals. Some say thats racing, most see it as a person to not have back.
Agreed. They drove dirty.
22 needs to be BANNED from future events... drove dirty intentionally. #F22
Agree.. I'd make sure he doesn't get an entry form next time.. Ban him.. People get killed or mamed for life from crap like what he pulled.. Derek has a family.. This guy #22 from Texas doesn't care.. Then lied.. said he was pushed.. Right..
The amount of control Cleeter has of his truck when his tire blew is insane. Such a badass
It's just like a drift or burnout which he's done b4 lol
I was thinking the same.
Talk about the best view possible to see what all the controversy was about. Certainly cleared a lot up for me.
Yup I saw his wheels turned hard left was an accident
Used to work at the local circle track in high school as part of the track maintenance crew. Part of our job was also cleaning the grandstand after the night was over. It’s truly impressive how much your fans respect you after hearing you say there wasn’t much trash left. It used to take 4 of us nearly an hour to clean a grandstand a third of the size 😂😂
The first time I don’t get the pay per view and it is the most awesome race ever I heard it was the most exciting race and a epic night
It has to be so relieving as a content creator when your giveaway winner is a cool guy.
swear i saw a comment blaming vgg for that wreck but interesting from this view it clearly shows the other truck came up from the inside into him
VGG had video clips of 22 hitting him from the inside I don’t see how anyone with a functional brain could blame him (VGG) unless they just plane don’t like him... 22 was driving dirty the whole race..
If the new Grand turismo game doesn’t come out with a game mode like this… I ain’t buying it
The POV of Cleetus driving and that music gave me strong GranTurismo vibes.

There is no deliberate movement towards/into Derek, just both following their lines. It was just contact.
@@doubleT84 in vgg video he clearly dives under and hits behind cab
@@doubleT84 I somewhat agree. I've watched several videos and replayed the PPV. The 22 was dive-bombing the corners fully on the apron. I don't think Derek was expecting anyone to be there. As it's not the racing surface or line. They need to paint a line around the track to show the designated racing surface. Hell even Cleet went down there and was pushing the 22 when he hit Derek.
This was great, Cleet!

I heard what you said right there Cleet… 😉
That’s rare audio, considering how you usually are during your videos. This race was crazy! So glad I was able to watch it! You’re the man Cleetus!!! 🤘🏻
Thanks~~~~
@@pnnedbyheavydspark9876 lol this isn’t even Heavy D’s channel.. Why would you think your name and comment would work?
Yeah number 22 was out driving his skill level. He’s honestly lucky he didn’t do that to someone that’s hot headed
Clean it up Cleet. Looking like no one is happy about the 22 truck, the way he was racing and how he did Derek.

Those FBK guys should have been penalized a lap for straight up PIT maneuvering Derek, and JH should have been put to the back on the restart for putting James in the infield... I don't think he meant to do that, but he did and maybe it's just inexperience, but that's crap regardless. You guys seriously need to start policing and penalizing people who drive like A-holes.
no shit, they didn't tap the back of Dereks truck, they ran into the side and turned him over, Derek had a sick truck that he dug too. its a race not a demolition derby

someone in the comments said he admitted to a locker rearend and a tune, not sure if it's true or not
@@hondaryderz I think someone who watched his earlier vids said he chipped it. if you watch his vid of the event he was torpedoing everyone up the inside. I doubt there was a car on track he didn't hit at least once. Shitty driving prevails sadly.
He almost took out KSR Kevin too
@@hondaryderz a locked diff would be a disadvantage on an oval though.
As someone who's flipped a ranger at 60mph I can confirm all I had to do was put new tires on it and I drove it home. A ranger is probably one of the most loyal vehicles you can find

22 is a pick. JH needs to cool it as well.
It looked to me like 22 was attempting to overtake on the apron on the turn, couldn't hold the line in the turn, and hit Derek on his way to the outside. Not illegal (especially since Cleetus has no problem racing on the apron and was directly behind 22 at the time of the wreck) but definitely an uncool thing to do.
