You do not need to remove the battery or coolant hoses if you are just removing the ac condenser fan. Thanks for the tutorial! Saved me a bunch of time
+Brian Wilson Thank you for your positive feedback! We are happy we could help.
Thank you so much for this video! Saved me hours of headache and lots of money.
Hello Thank you all so very much for posting this video! The install of my new fan went without a hitch. Wonderful execution of instructions. Keep up the good work!.

2006 Civic. I changed my condenser fan without disassembling anything. Unplugged it and a couple clips. Removed the two retaining 10mm bolts and it slid right out. No problem.
You will need to follow this procedure if you are to change the radiator fan motor.
I did the same thing for the condensor fan, I didn't have to remove the radiator support for the condensor fan. But for the radiator fan I had to remove the rad support peice like in the video as it blocks the top screw mounts from the radiator fan from being moved to the side.
Always great videos from 1A auto!
Thanks for the video.
It worked. But rather than pushing the clips that actually act as support for the cable harness, I preferred to cut the corresponding tie wraps and install new ones. Doing this you will keep the brackets in place and avoids damaging them. You need to be careful though when cutting the tie wraps.

Hi, is there a difference between the Engine cooling fan and A/C Cooling fan in terms of the motor? I am looking to replace just the motor!
+Ernie M Yes, there will be a difference between these two parts. Thanks for checking us out! 1A Auto
Looking down like he is installing, the fan on the left is the ac condenser fan and the fan on the right is the radiator fan?
Yep
Hello friend, I hope you are well .. I have a Honda Civic SI 2007, it only has 1 fan, does it affect that I only have 1? Or the 2 are needed
Merhabalar kaç derecede fanı açması gerekiyor teşekkür ederim
When I try to place the radiator with the cooling fan in place on the bottom slots there's a black plastic piece on both sides of the radiator that is blocking me from being able to do this. Any idea how I can take that part off.? It's needs to come off
How is it the new AC condenser fan doesn't have a relay like the old fan ? And is it necessary? Because I'm replacing my fan motor only n the new motor doesn't have the relay looking box?
Can you tell me what size bolt is used to mount the fans?
10
Wayyyy past my skill level. It sucks being broke & mechanically impaired
Could you go from underneath the car and avoid having to remove so much from the beginning?
Not really... The fan bolts are on the top.
To the guys in the comments that did this, what issues were you having?
Can each fan be ordered from 1A Auto and if so, how much does each cost?
+Jeff G The fan in this video, part number 1ARFA00196 is currently listed at $59.95. Please be advised, prices can change without notice. Thanks for watching.
