    This man of God is so filled with a kind, loving spirit. He is a meek and humble servant and child of God. I’ve learned something new in watching this devotional. I pray that all of Christ’s disciples will maintain a life that will invite The Holy Ghost during every day of these, the last of the last days of this last dispensation.

    The minister I feel like it just means to be a good friend. Jesus is our best friend, he's a perfect best friend. It's that simple.

      Preston Smith. You are right! People do not revelation to become a friendly human being.
      I can see that the kind of questions these students presented are from someone who can not function without the LDS leaders telling them what to do in their lives. Dangerous!

      @Believe in nature yeah I know one person who says the prophet is right about everything. The prophet is the prophet but he is not perfect and therefore he is not right about everything. He gets Revelation for the church however is not a perfect person pike heavenly father, heavenly mother or Jesus. Only they are perfect. The prophet is still learning like all other people.

    President Eyring noted that at the beginning of the meeting “a faithful prayer to Heavenly Father in the sacred name of Jesus Christ” had included a request for the influence of the Holy Ghost. “Our hearts were full as that prayer was answered for each of us,” he said.

  • @strangecore4

    President Eyring’s discussion of ministering and repentance is a great summary of Moroni 8:25,26. Not the progression that leads from repentance to pure love (the essence of ministering):
    25 “And the first fruits of repentance is baptism; and baptism cometh by faith unto the fulfilling the commandments; and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth remission of sins;
    26 And the remission of sins bringeth meekness, and lowliness of heart; and because of meekness and lowliness of heart cometh the visitation of the Holy Ghost, which Comforter filleth with hope and perfect love, which love endureth by diligence unto prayer, until the end shall come, when all the saints shall dwell with God.

    I can't believe you edited out President Eyring's story of disobeying the prompting (you can even see the scene fade and cut off at the 23:24 mark). That was an inspiring story! It was the most tender moment of the entire presentation. Very sad that you think we're all too immature to feast on the meat. I'm tired of being fed milk.

      He literally said “don’t print this” when it was live streaming I came to see if they cut it out I’m glad they did it means they can speak when they feel it’s right just to the people who need it when it comes to very personal matters. I am grateful I watched it live and heard that story but I don’t think we should repeat it because he asked us not to

      @@latterdaycovenantliving He also essentially joked when he said it - and he said it publicly. So, yes, I understand why they edited, but I think that's a move you only do when you think an audience isn't mature enough to handle it. I'll repeat, I thought that was the most inspirational and touching story of the entire night. President Eyring, whom I love, was full of emotion and gave a great object lesson.

    Loaded goat, he is not a man of God. For his god is flesh that Smith conned him into. The true God is Spirit and truth. Smith's created god cannot save a fly. You need to get out of there FAST!!!

    The Lord inspires us to want to do what's right. He never forces. As with the war in heaven, so it is today. Now contrast that with the way governments are moving towards force in everything they do....this is not God's way. I can't wait until the Lord saves us from this wickedness.

Thank you for the counsel on how to listen to the Spirit and understand the Lord's love for us by the ways he guides us through our lives, especially in learning to listen and from patriarchal blessings and so much. Almost 17 years ago I was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor in my brain stem. I am still on chemotherapy for it today. I struggle with balance issues and other things. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior so much! I was able to serve a mission for 18 months and I'm so grateful that I had that opportunity. I want more than anything to be a part of my Heavenly Father's great work here on earth. ❤️❤️
