I got Gyarados, Solosis, the second Psyduck, and Jigglypuff. I feel like I deserve partial credit for thinking the Onix was going to be a chain of Geodude.

What I find hilarious with the greninja one is that the exact same mistake was made for his smash bros reveal. Everyone saw a 3 fingered Pokemon charging an attack and thought it was mewtwo

I actual watched this before I was a real Pokémon fan and did not even know half the pokemon and I actually guessed Gastly disguised as koffing and when I actually got into Pokémon I was super proud for figuring that out.

These were always hard but Pokémon Journeys made it very easy because the Pokémon is actually in the episode for a change.
In the original Japanese, the who's that Pokemon segment was always whatever Pokemon the episode was about. I don't know what the dub was doing with random unrelated Pokemon for their segments
I managed to get: the thumbnail, Gastly the second time, Solosis, and Psyduck the second time
After the second one that was Gastley, I pretty much guessed Gastley for all of them. But the only one that I got right was the alolan diglett psyduck, and you were right, it is a great feeling

I have now finished watching the video, and I guessed the lunatone that was a salamence correctly, as well as the pidgey that was a spearow, and nothing else. I am embarrassed to have not gotten the voltorb-solosis, because I was just talking about solosis this morning.
5:52 so fun fact when I was learning division, I couldn't figure it out properly so I created my own method for getting the answers and it worked, and I understood it properly. Couldn't do that though because I didn't use the right method even though the answers were right. Teacher forced me to use the right method and failed many tests after that. Ive tried to figure out what I did but to this day I genuinely have no idea what I did to get the right answers but not actually do division. I think it was a modified multiplication process? Anyway I hated that teacher so much I don't even remember her (I think it was a her anyway) name. it was probably more difficult or complicated than the "proper" way but still, teacher if one of your kids has to reinvent math to understand it, maybe it's not the kid that's the problem, and you work with the kid not just say "no that's illegal, do it the right way"

I got the togepi, I got the meowth, solosis, wailmer, and the furret. I saw the ghastly onyx before bit I'm counting it anyway. If were treating the greninja as a free spot, we can say that one too.
Actively paused a moment on the meowth tho. The tail made me think maybe a cubone/marowak with the bone or maybe a farfetch'd but I remembered meowth also had the swirly tail so I went with my gut on it

The ones I got right were Gastly as Koffing, Meowth as Ratatta, Psyduck as Alolan Diglet, and Spearow as Pidgey.

My favourite one to see was the Yveltal and seeing you get Psyduck right! I got the Gastlys, the Solosis, the Mega Salamence, and the Jigglypuff right. They're all the easiest ones to get right when I look back but they weren't wrong so that's a plus!
My favorite was Umbreon, but he clearly hasn't escaped the floor tentacles in that dimension.
