About contracts, im in 14th season with my final year of around the grid challenge and i can confirm every time they release their best staff and they don't put any breakout multiplaier in their contracts. I always left the teams with max research and overhaul their contracts with 10x breakout for challenge. You can do that too.
You should not sign new staff and try to do the season with the existing staff or if you are going to better the team. You should have to sign them for max length and max breakout multiplier so that way you are being strategic with yourself and in theory you are then leaving the team with better staff and drivers you can't poach later. You could add on a self imposed rule of you can't reuse any staff or driver you have used on a team prior. Another option which would be interesting to watch is trying to win it with the drivers and staff they have when you come into the team. As it would add a degree of drama to if you are going to be able to do it in one season. As while the videos are enjoyable there isn't a whole lot of drama or tension around if you are going to be able to actually do it if you are signing the best staff and drivers. However I do enjoy the series either way.
Luckily it looks like the next patch will make some of these suggestions for me, patch 1.9 is bringing back the staff and drivers not being willing to join a "downgrade" unless their contracts are running out. Might very well implement the suggestion to not reuse staff and drivers and trying to win with the starting staff and drivers, I just expected the second season to be more of a challenge so I really went for the min-max.
Hi, I have a save idea that I think is very good and creative. You should create a team where you develop young prodigies and then when they are at a decent level, send them to another formula 1 team. It would be very cool if you used this in a video. I originally thought of this in fc 25 because of Ajax but then I brought it over to F1 Manager. Another reason why it’s good is because you won’t get bored of it in the way you do in road to glories.
I believe the reason why the replacement cost of staff is zero is because when the a.i offer contracts to staff they are trying to sign, they lower the cost to break the contract because it makes the person they are wanting to sign more liking to the contract being offered Hopefully that makes sense I'm not very good at expressing what I mean through writing
Hey Nero, after the recent patches how should you upgrade during the first season? I know you have a 2 month old video and is that tutorial still good?
46:15 I'm looking forward to something like that!

Sounds like a good idea.

Hey have you already seen the 1.9 patch notes?
I've taken a look at them this morning as I was exhausted last night. It looks absolutely amazing and I am looking forward to testing it out.

I understand that, but at the same time it's very dumb because it makes them free to poach :)
Second person here from David and keep it up the good work on your UA-cam videos NeroBax
how do you get the sponsor packages to say 'Race Day Package' etc. and not sponsor names?
I have a real sponsors mod, so I would assume it is from that.

It should work just fine for now, patch 1.9 might change things slightly with the new driver focuses but would require some testing.
