To clear up any misconceptions, Dave was right about fermentation, but alcohol content is raised through repeated distillations. The more times you distill it, the stronger it gets. However, around 95% ABV, more water comes over with the raw spirits than is worth the distiller's time to remove. Lab grade ethanol of 99-100% ABV is made using chemical drying agents and/or molecular sieves.
Also, sounded like Daz was saying "ethanol" when I think he was thinking of isopropanol (rubbing alcohol) and that may have been further confused with methanol, which can make you permanently blind or kill you in relatively low doses, but is a by-product of distilling spirits. That's why distilleries always throw out the first stuff that comes out of the first boil, because methyl alcohol boils at a lower temperature than ethanol. Hence, moonshine (often made by people who don't know better) is often attributed to blindness or death. Ethanol is what we drink normally because it's... Only a little toxic. ;)

Yeah its a pretty good size room. You can see how big it is in their earlier try videos. I think something is wrong with Mike and Dave's mic cause Daz doesn't sound to bad.
I think their mics are in a slight different sync.

Is Gin a English thing ? No lads sorry to be correcting you. Gin is actually Dutch it’s derived from the spirit we call Jenever. Loving the content very entertaining. You might want to try Arsenal FC Gin it’s infused with Grass from the actual pitch. Hard to get your hands on but is quite good.

I'm trying to figure out how to ship alcohol overseas, but it looks like i'd need a licence. Here in Kansas City there's a microbrewery called Boulevard that makes renowned beers & ales, & I think you blokes would like some of their selections. Gotta figure out how to get 'em to you, though. Legally, I mean. . .
Though it wasn't gin, I've had 95% corn whiskey before. Several times actually. Gotta be careful with that stuff. I'm sure you could run a tractor on it if you had to. I can't imagine the gin is much different.

As a video editor myself, I'm sure they are well aware. There's no way to fix it after its filmed. Comments about it are redundant and unhelpful...technically speaking.

Don't tell me that they are well aware and still decided to post the video anyway. That makes no sense. They posted it because most adults are mature enough to overlook it and simply enjoy the content without offering "constructive criticism". If they didn't post content because of minor tech issues, then they would only have half the content on their channel. As a pro in the industry, it bothered me exactly 0%. They're not pros so just let it go.

Where I am, we have both Medical Marijuana and Adult Use Recreational Marijuana so it's 100% legal here. But not only would that be hilarious and epic to watch, but it would probably skyrocket your channel "Office Blokes Try" to over 100k, almost instantly. I'm absolutely certain of it lol. And besides, that Gin is far more dangerous than Cannabis is or ever was. That gin will kill you lol. But I digress. If you can't do them here, come to the United States!
