I had my teeth (or what was left of them) removed this morning. Here where I live in Germany they do things slightly different and the first time I will see my dentures is in two days for a "fitting" session. As there is a weekend in the middle I will spend a total of 6 days without teeth, but whatever it is too late now. Glad your journey went well, wish me luck with mine 🙂
I literally went to the dentist yesterday to get started on my dentures and am very nervous but I've dealt with bad teeth pain for 30 years and am tired of hurting. At least the pain that comes with dentures will end. Thank you for calming my nerves down.
I have had such a bad time keeping them in my mouth without the gag reflex leading to throwing my guts up that I don't wear them. I've finally talked my self into going to the dentist tomorrow and seeing what can we do.

It’s not only the physical pain teeth issues cause but the self conscious/physical appearance mental effect , and the sickness and stomach issues it can cause , . I'm 41 years old and I am having 21 teeth pulled and 7 cut out that are broken off at the gum line. This is being done in 3 days at Affordable Dentures and Implants. I'm definitely nervous but he did say they were going to give me a pill (Valium) or something like that to take about an hour before my appointment to make me relax. I found you today because im having it done on Thursday and im terrified to be honest. However, when you said to relax I literally cried because its the first time since this all started that i actually did relax about it. Thank you for putting this out there for us❤

Periodontal gum disease eventually got all my teeth, uppers all out 20 years ago, lowers out last Friday. Opted for the immediate dentures cus Cigna Medicaid does NOT cover a damn thing in dentistry, so I used my Medi-Share account which took the major hit, but still left me with about $7,000 out of pocket, which is a bargain compared to the 'implant' version which would have the equivalent of a new car expense in my mouth, like $28,000 - $30,000. Oral surgeon did the trick, nitrous gas first, then out cold. Never felt a thing. First 24 hours the worst, massive bleeding, etc.
Just went through this yesterday finally the bleeding has slowed down dentures don't fit and I'm starving I tried to smash some Ramen noodles and just swallow them it aint working
@@jeffpickle6660 That was the next issue for me. The dentures were so bad I had to have total remake for another $3000. It was like a do it yourself kit so damn sloppy fitting. And like learning to wear wooden shoes without socks.
Ty so so sooooooo very much for doin this video. I go in 3 weeks to get my 15 teeth pulled and immediate dentures put in. My biggest fear is a dentist. I am absolutely terrified! I'm hopin that I adjust well to them & that I look great. I haven't been able to smile in pics in years. I'm super excited but just so terrified. All that poppin n crackin I know I'll hear, makes my anxiety shoot sky high. My dentist doesn't give any narcotics just 800 mg Ibuprofen. She also doesn't use stitches. She said the teeth act as a bandaid over the extraction sites. She to said she'll put em in & to leave them in for 24 hours til I go back and She takes em out. I hope mine look as great as yours. Your video is exactly what I needed. Idw swell alot nor them flop around and not fit. I hope you continue to heal quickly and get used to them daily. You are definitely super handsome & I hope I do as great as you have.

Just had my extractions done this morning now have my dentures in had them pulled at 8am it is now 10:30am so my adventure has begun !! I’m am also a radio operator mainly 11 meters LSB 27.3650-27.4450. Also use GRMS radios. 11 meter call sign is 2WR0311. And GMRS call sign is WSBV476. Home base is Central Alabama. My dentist told me not to take them out for at least 24 hours after extractions. If I did, they would not go back in. Glad to hear you had no problem doing that.

@@hermancanter9884 it’s going well everything is going to be different for everyone who has this done top dentures fit great had a few sores that needed attention. Bottoms fit for first 3 day’s. Need a soft reline coming 4/2 . They don’t fit at all . But all in all I’m happy
I lost 10 pounds the first week - but after that Im gaining weight, because the soft foods are high calorie (plus I'm comforting myself a bit, with ice cream, etc.)
They rubbed numbing cream on then waited 10 mins to give shots and l didn’t feel anything. The novacsin wearing off is the worst pain in this whole ordeal. Ice packs help face swelling and orajel mouth sore rinse was better than ibuprofen for me.
Im getting 26 pulled thats including the 4 wisdoms and i am absolutely terrified of it all just the teeth pulling is my fear and the denists in general i dont mind the pain afterwords i can get really strong meds for that 😮😮
@@JohnnyMullet Thank you...I got Top Dentures today...I had 4 tooth bridges in the back, so extractions were only 8 teeth...I feel pretty good. I used Chinese herb oil & hemp root balm that took the swelling away within 4 hours. I'm not going back tomorrow...I am waiting 6 days (on the 15th) because I don't think getting a soft liner is right on day 2 (when you still have bleeding holes in your mouth trying to heal). Of course, if I have any problems I will call him.
I am getting 12 top teeth extracted on March 20th with immediate denture placement and opted out of sedation. I'm really worried that I'm not going to be able to handle although I myself feel I have high pain tolerance. 😩
I got all my teeth extracted yesterday and had to have some bone shaved down i already took my immediate dentures out the top fits a lil bit but the bottoms dont fit at all haven't ate since sunday its tuesday smh 16 thousand dollars and here i am with no teeth and have to go back to work tomorrow smh its been a train wreck not sure what to do from here

I took 2 tylenol 500mg rapid release pills,and 2 extra strength advils. That formula has gotten me through 10 months of constant pain due to 2 failed bridges,and worn down sensitive natural teeth.
