I love my 14-inch M2 Pro, but damn, that big screen at 3.3 pounds makes me jealous. Even though the display and speakers don't match the 14s, it's damn good
Great video Nenad, I picked up one of these for my son for his first year of college. Love the attention to detail in the review you covered a ton. Keep it up.
@@MannyRataul Nice! Yeah it should be totally fine for that. Let me know how it works out for you. And yeah! I remember seeing reviews of the 13" in midnight when they came out and realized it got tons of fingerprints on it. So I decided to get something other than the midnight lol
15” looks great, but in my heart I still like the 13”. Just seems so much more compact. You can always buy an external portable 15” monitor for more screen. How long before people start complaining that 15” isn’t enough screen real estate? The air is supposed to be portable.
I'm used to my 14" pro and using the 15" it's a noticeably bigger screen. Which for some people who are looking for a 15" I think it's a great machine. But if you're looking for portable then the 13" is much more appropriate for this. It's really nice having a super light 15"- especially compared to the 16" Pro
Well for my experience I went from Intel 2020 MacBook Air and went straight to the M2 MacBook Air 15 inch with 24GB Ram and 256 SSD storage and its a definite powerhouse
Yeah it sure is! There is a big jump in performance from the intel machines, to the ones with the silicone chips now. Huge improvement! Glad you're liking your new MacBook. Thanks for stopping by and watching
This is a great video but do you mind making another setup video? Ive got a few months before college starts up again and i need to know what exactly to get before that
I've only tested it out with Premiere Pro and Photoshop so far. No hiccups with 4K footage at all. Very surprising. However, if you're planning on taking full advantage of the Adobe Suite, I would go for the 16gb version just to be safe. Better to have a little more RAM if you think you're going to need it. If you don't plan on doing any creative works, and just casual computer work, then 8gb will be plenty
wow very nice but won't need another macbook pro until my 2019 dies lol subbed and just here supporting smaller channels like mine. keep up the good work.
Agreed! This is the exact recommendation I gave in the video! If you only have $200 more to spend, definitely upgrade the RAM on here and get yourself an external SSD for less than $100 like my T7 Shield 💯
@@juniorzuniga7249 The problem with that is that swapping the RAM into SSD will cause faster degradation of your SSD and it will run at lower speeds. It is also an issue considering that if you run out of storage in your SSD you won't have space for swap. In other words you will be out of RAM and Storage. Lastly external SSDs are much cheaper than apples upgrade, you can connect an external SSD but you will never be able to add more RAM later. So get more RAM instead of storage ALWAYS.
Depends what you're looking to use the laptop for. I love having more power than I need. So for me personally and my workflow, I prefer the 14" m1. But if you're just a casual laptop user, not necessary to go for something like the M1 Pro honestly
if im being honest just dont buy a mac if you dont get both the storage and ram upgrades. A windows laptop is way cheaper and probably has a terabyte of storage and 10 hours battery
Interesting perspective! I think for most people the base version is really going to be fine. These chips are very powerful and I was really surprised using this Mac. I'm sure you can find a windows laptop for cheaper. But if you want to stick with Mac and you're not a heavy computer user, which I would say most people aren't- base version should be fine
@@NenadSapungin idk man its kind of a crime to give "not heavy" computer users 256 gigs of storage, when theyre instantly going to run out and will need to buy external storage. Defeats the purpose of having to not worry about small things that is associated with their brand image
@@nika_251 True! I think it really depends on the user.. If you think it's gonna cut it close, then definitely upgrade. I had a 256gb all through college and it was totally fine for me. Lasted me a solid 6 years before I upgraded. Just depends! Doesn't hurt getting more though if your budget allows for it
Is the worst thing I have ever purchased in my life and regretted buying it Samsung book3 is better than the Mac book air, I know all UA-camr are under payroll of Apple
I'm sure you can find a PC with better specs! Which, I believe I stated in the end of the video.. But I'm a fan of the Apple ecosystem so I think it's a great machine in the Apple ecosystem! Sorry you're not enjoying it!

Can’t the ram access the ssd for swapped memory?
