Kibler: what do you think about my naya midrange deck? PV: your deck has flaws, an by that I mean it's bad Kibler: So you're saying that I should play naya midrange?
I would add a 4th thing. Playing vs people who understand the other deck. The difference between playing vs a skill opponents, and an average to unskilled opponent with a deck or an archtype is night/day testing differences.
another thing to add: while playtesting, you can specifically test with fewer than 7 cards but with a specific card in hand, if you know you're going to be aggressively mulligan-ing for that combo piece. Thanks PV, love these shorties from a hotel. They are gold.
Paulo, you beautiful human being. Thank you for your last point -- it's so crucial and so true! It hurts to think about times when my teammates or myself has gotten salty over any criticism, even if not about Magic. Nice video, as usual.
To each his own darling. The play testing stuff was good too but it's not like I'm ever going to use it. I hate people and think I'm better than everyone so it's utterly useless to me.
More like: Step 1. Try to make a qualitative rather than a quantitative analysis of your playtest matches. Step 2. Focus playtest on match ups that you haven't fully explored yet. Step 3. All deck builders make bad decks from time to time. Don't get butthurt when you find out.
More videos like this, please.
They do so many online play videos I cant keep up, wouldnt mind getting more vids like this instead
This is one of the best videos I've seen in a long time, even outside the MTG community. Feels very honest and old school "you" tube
This is great, we all tell PV how much we like his videos, and he makes more of them. Awesome!

He's so handsome. He should definitely do more "on camera'' stuff.
That's a great takeaway from this video >.

Then how do you judge non-interactive matches like living end vs soul sisters.
But why are you staying in Richmond for a PT in Nashville...?
WanderThereYonder Most of the pros were at the Richmond GP last weekend and just stayed there until a day before the PT

Jake Lunn congrats
So;
Step 1: Don't Netdeck.
Step 2: Know your match-ups.
Step 3: Work on how you play and don't blame outside forces.
shinwolf wow you got nothing about the video lol

How could you know the match-ups if you don't netdeck? :))
Great video
