My three favourite bands in the world represented on one my favourite tracks - The Mission, Depeche Mode (Martin Gore) and All About Eve. Glad to see Gary here too. My musical legends!
Sen bloody sational!! Better than the original, who would have said that back in the day. Billy Duffy Guitar cords, Midge Ure, Martin Gore and Numan vocals...!! He has transformed this cult song to another level. Mr Wayne Hussey..thank you thank you,, this should be Number 1...
I'm speechless! The music sounds amazing!! Only a genius like Wayne Hussey could bring this team of stars together for such a noble cause. It was magical. KTF! ❤️🙏🏻✨
So many amazing bands together for one mission. Those that are dealing with the virus are heroes, to have epic musicians like this paying tribute to them is humbling. Thank you Wayne for gathering so many together and sharing something so special.
Draven Taylor On this side of the pond it’s the civilians, industry, organizations and the people that are stepping up, our government doesn’t have our backs.
@@antoniop1968 Sadly, the government should be having the backs of the people as they are meant to be a representation of the people. Many times they are mired in politics and lose sight of the people they are meant to serve as officials. It shows the dedication, empathy, and humanity in those that are helping. The song is a reflection of that in how all these amazing artists came together to create something special in homage of those that work for the betterment of others. The donations to worthy charities are another aspect where this song has more merit that words could ever express. I am honor to help spread the word on this song. I have always loved the original format of it and to see if utilized to do something profoundly good is deeply endearing to me.
Thanks for the words ... but as a healthcare worker I can tell you that we’ve had more time on our hands than ever over the last few months. My workplace has been dead.
Despite during lockdown people in general where very grateful for us key workers, and even clapped for us. These days, its almost the opposite. The amount of abuse we are getting daily is unbareable sometimes.
Mine was a bit of both, starting to get mega busy as a result of previous elective cancellations now being rescheduled etc. But it’s safer to go to the hospital than it is to go to any shop. Honestly, the way some selfish people give zero fucks and just want to fight you for impeding their god given right to be an arsehole is breathtaking. No Pun intended there!
Angela Caeira Martin I’ve never experienced any abuse in my career. I’m sorry to hear that you have. TBH me and my colleagues felt a little uncomfortable with the clapping thing. This NHS hero worship is insufferable.
That's just wonderful. From someone on the front line..... Thank you everyone involved. This has been an appalling year. We really appreciate your combined efforts. Be careful out there. Hopefully we will all celebrate together again someday. X
Me too. I’ve never been emotional listening to The Mission before, but I’ve got a really heavy heart right now with big fat tears. How soon we forget our gratitude to the front line workers, who must have been terrified themselves, but still said ‘we’ll take good care of you’. and they did 💕
Stunning! A classic from the late eighties that I simply adored then and with this sublime resurrection with some of the best talent ever from. Martin Gore, Midge Ure, Numan and I am thrilled to see Julianne Regan in the mix! Wow, blows me away. I was an avid follower of The Mission and All About Eve in the 80's went nearly every London gig that they did! Brilliant. Thanks Wayne for bringing me back some great memories with this sorely missed track that sounds more relevant today than ever!
Brings back memories of the HollyWood palladium in 1990, and the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, Twice, and Gathering of the Tribes in Costa Mesa, that was the best, singing with Wayne in the crowd.. Good days.
One of my favorite songs (released in 1994) is spot on to acknowledge the efforts of those who do perform essential jobs. It does have a positive impact on those who may be told they are OK or are isolated due to COVID-19. This approach could help heal some of the wounded in our world. Music could be used in our path to evolution. I will play this when I do my next transcendental meditation. Gary and Martin, Dave from DM sang too. Dear Wayne, now it is my turn to say, thank you, thank you and thank you with all my heart.
wonderful song, wonderful version....how does this not have millions of views and likes? This should have received a ton more promotion....truly exceptional.
Saw you guys in Valencia this March. Awesome! This is something else. Star studded is an understatement. All my heroes in one epic song ! And a great cause.
Jay wasn't made aware of Michael's involvement until after the fact, as Jay confirmed on his Facebook page, and as Wayne Hussey admitted in an interview. So it wasn't a reunion, but a deception. Jay, however, has been kind about it, despite the unfairness of how his recording was obtained.
Wow!! That's a great idea! Already loved the original version, but this one is mindblasting with all the guests musicians. Unfortunately I don't know all the guests...
Someone finally put all the brightest bulbs in the same box to make the most brilliant beacon to shine the brightest through one of the most darkest times of humanity! This is phenomenal!
This was never terrible... But I have to say... Weeks afterwards... This is INCREDIBLE. Took a while to appreciate this version but its got the old and its got the new and its in the best possible hands for a re-release. LOVE this. Very much.
I recall seeing an interview where Gary said this is one of his favorite songs. So cool to see all of the talented musicians who collaborated for this fantastic tribute to healthcare workers. High 5
Thank you all for this we appreciate so much our Front Line Workers throughout the world. They deserve our respect and we are humbled by the strength and courage they bring day in and day out.
Ordered :) many thanks guys ... lets have a big outdoor free remission event !!! For the essential workers and everyone else... keep on keeping on. Respect !
This is a wonderful thing that's been done, and a wonderful thing to listen to. Well done, everyone... One of my favourite songs ever recorded, done absolute justice by some of my favourite artists ever. Just, wow. 🖤
Thanks to Wayne Hussey for this anthem and for dedicating it to all those who fight covid. The scientists, the physicians, the nurses, the pharmacists and all the other unsung heroes. Thanks also to these great musicians who supported this rendition.

Still a highly emotive track and representative of the incredibly worthy work that so often goes by unnoticed. Well done all! So much musical talent in one place, fantastic! Think I still have the 7" vinyl somewhere.
Incredibly moving version... brings tears to the eyes with each listen. So many legends involved... and to think the Aston Brothers are participating on the same track together! Cheers Wayne, Mick, Simon and Craig for writing such a timeless classic.
Sadly, this song and its message seem to be forgotten. I still thank for this beautiful hommage for the medical staff which is still until now and for a long time to come there to help all affected by Covid and Long Covid. I keep my fingers crossesd for all of you!

Gary Numan absolutely owns this . He should do a version with only his vocals throughout. Julianne and Evi also add tremendously to the mix.
Yes. His voice just grabs you. Xxx.
hmmmm, for me Martin Gore is the man.

Great job, Wayne!
Martin Gore ♥️

You all sound great. 👍

Good to see Miles again, just after working with my other fave Leeds band from home... The semi-legendary Wedding Present.
