No doubt about it, Uconn is loaded to the gills with elite talent, clearly the most since the Stewie era. To dominate again, all they now require is the extinction of the longest injury plague in their history. If that happens, Uconn fans will rejoice because we get to see birth of another monster team.

If everyone is ready to go and Geno is willing to do a full rotation, I can see a second team with Strong, Griffin and KK going up tempo and running other teams to death. Ice needs to be willing to drive to the hoop this year. And not settle for a jump shot. I saw a clip or two of them working with her on that last year. Let's hope she gets aggressive. I think Geno needs to tell her to drive and we'll live with the charges. Just keep driving. First team could be really good. And second team really scary. I'm EXCITED!

Imagine KK with Aubrey, Fudd (limited minutes first half of the season) or Chen and Ashlyn, and Allie or Cheli. They go second string and it's all speed, athleticism, and sharp shooters. If you are a sharpshooter like Fudd, Shade, Allie, and PB, you have the green light. All others should work on their shots around the paint and dribble, stop, and shoot.

I don't know that you're overhyping. Certainly she has the potential. She's the number one pick after all. But it remains to be seen if that translates to D1 ball. Don't get me wrong; I think it will. But there's going to be a learning curve. Fortunately, she's willing, or appears so, an has good players to teach her, not to mention Geno and staff. Perhaps the best thing she brings is pressure on Ice and Ayanna. That may be the push Ice needs and, while Ayanna doesn't need it, it isn't going to bother her.
