Thank you for this recipe, they turned out great! Lovely background music, can you tell me where its from? Maybe song, artist or album name. I would be forever grateful
We grew up eating Papadums in this manner, but now we microwave the same Papadums using our Australian-made Papadum Express tray. We may now eat in a healthy manner, and they taste just as good without the deep-fried excess oil.
The store bought ones that I have are expanding by a factor two when fried, and completely bubbled all over the surface. Yours only have a few small bubbles. How can I achieve the completely airy effect?
Thank you , this looked nice and easy but tasty :) I haven't had any papadum in a long time and I'm looking forward to try them. One suggestion, no need for the background music or make it much softer. I had a bit of a hard time focusing on your voice. Thank you so much again :)
Hi, I used measuring cup (half cup size measuring cup). Not half of that or any other cup.. full cup of measuring cup called half cup. Please try. Many thanks 🙏 for watching.
Yes that will work perfectly. You can get raw chickpea there? In Philippines, also hard to find chickpea here. We don't have raw chickpea too. We have to order chickpea powder online from overseas or at Indian grocery stores only.
The whole point of this video is to learn how to make the papadam, not to buy them at the store. Nothing forces you to fry them that long if you think it is too much.
@@BigHairCareBlog I guess. I would just much rather put all that effort into making a balanced meal which also is missing from this video. Totally ill-conceived.
@@VedicDesi The name of the Video does not include 'balanced meal', so not sure where ill conceived comes from. Try searching for balanced meal if you are looking for that, or manage your expectations. These are easy to make, and with the options explained, frying does not have to happen.
Awesome
Thank you so much Leander 🙏
Thanks for the video, you might want to turn the background music down a bit though.

No problem at all, you are welcome ..
very nice 💯👌🤌
I thought they were made with lentils!
You are right! There are many different recipes that you can make them
such a shame, where to find chickpea flower here? :(
May I know where you are? I'm in the Philippines.
@@TFamilyCookingShow Serbia, southeastern Europe. Hello Philippines,
lovely people over there
I'm so sorry mate. I also don't know how to buy chickpea in Serbia... 🥺
@@TFamilyCookingShow maybe to grind uncooked chickpea?

Basically u fail to make it.
Doesn't look like papadom at all
Can't hear a damn thing over that music.
Sorry to hear that..
the music gets on nerves
These were over fried. Just get them from the Indian store and give them five seconds on each side on 340° heat.

Imagine the person in one of these videos tasted the finished product and said:"hm, nah, this was bad.." then left😂
🤣🤣🤣
They would just cut that part of the video
