I’m late to the party, but I actually dump the treatment into an empty continuous mist spray bottle that I usually just use to wet my hair down, and it makes the product go WAY further and apply more evenly. I’ve got super long thick hair, and the mini bottle for a single treatment covers my whole head and makes it fairly damp. I hope that helps anyone! 😊
After seeing a lot of information regarding olaplex if you have damp or towel dried hair to start with then you won't use so much of number (0) as you seemed a bit concerned you would use the bottle up quickly. Hope this helps 😏
I thought No. 0 was supposed to be applied to DAMP hair. Am I misinformed? (And the hair should be washed first so the Olaplex can get deeper into cuticle.)
I just double checked the Olaplex website for No.0 and it says "apply to dry hair, fully saturating each section" No.0 is basically the primer for No.3 😊 However, No.3 must be applied to damp hair and wash after treatment... I'm sure that's what you were thinking, since we apply No.3 right after No.0! If your hair is fairly clean, just get it wet before applying. If you have product build-up or really dirty hair then shampoo first and then apply No.3. I just read that response from Olaplex on a similar question on their site too. Yes, I agree you'll get better results with clean hair! I wash daily so personally I don't wash just before a treatment..just after! 🤍
Essential Living Mommy your welcome and it saturates the hair perfect! I use the salon spray bottle type that holds its spray for like 10 seconds. They have them off amazon.
I just got the number 0 in today. I have a feeling I won’t be using it every time I use number 3 , because like you I would have to use the whole bottle I have thick hair and it takes forever just to get it fully wet to wash it.. so I’m thinking I’ll have to add some water also. Olaplex on IG also told me to apply it to clean hair so I’ll have to wash it let it dry then add 0 then 3 then rinse wash then conditioner that’s a lot of work.. lol thanks your the video review you have beautiful hair even before any treatment.
You can leave it in overnight! I personally couldn’t sleep with something in my hair, and I’d have to get up really early to wash it out before my little ones got up! It’s just easier for me to get it all done in the evening 😀
Because it’s gotta stay incubated (as warm and wet as possible) for the entirety of the treatment so the cuticle doesn’t close & all that good stuff is getting deep. And I leave mine on 45 min. Cover head!
My hair breaks at the same spots and I don’t get the back underside 😩 The front I understand because thats were its brushed and styled most often. But the back underside? I don’t get it at all. My hairdresser friend said it’s due to low pony tails and low buns, which I do often, but I don’t understand the level of breakage back there, it’s worse than the front which is always being handled and clipped back. It’s so aggravating 🤬
YES! Yeah I always have my hair pulled up as well! And my girls pull on my hair and try to brush it while it’s up too! So many reasons for breakage haha 😂
I'm really wanting to try this, I'm losing hair from breaking, and just coming out of my head. Do you think this would help me out. I'm using puroligy now, and I love it, but I thought I would add this if you think it would help. I feel just lost, because I want someone to tell me what I need to do!! Lol
@@lauren.homeschool THANK YOU FOR REPLYING TO ME!!!! Well, I watched your video on puroligy strength cure a couple of months ago, and after seeing that, I decided to buy it!! So I watched your video on olaplex twice yesterday, so, I decided to buy it as well!! Lol. That way I can switch back and forth and get the best of both! I think I'm going through perimenopause and that's causing me to lose some hair! UGH!!You seem so personable, and honest, that I trust what your saying! 🙂. I love your videos! Thank you for being here for us!! HUGS!! 🤗❣❣❣❣
I get those crazy curly hairs at the nape of my neck too lol And now I’m older and going grey I get those at my temples, just above my ears! So annoying lol
I’m not sure, but I don’t think it’s launched everywhere yet. I got mine from Sephora, and I’d also trust Olaplex website of course. I love Amazon, but i personally wouldn’t buy certain products from them. I hope you’re able to get them soon! Of course glad you enjoyed it! 😊
It’s not the same scent, but I prefer the smell of No.6! It’s a light citrus, very pleasant, and my hubby told me my hair smells nice! Always a plus! ☺️
It depends..if you have a lot of product in your hair or it’s very dirty then yes, I would wash it first. You want the product to be as effective as possible and actually get to the hair. I wash my hair daily and use little to no leave in products so I don’t wash before. You will wash out the treatment afterwards though too :)
Your hair looks smooth and silky! Thank you for this informative review!
WOW!! Olaplex watched my video!! 🤩 THANK YOU sooo much and for making such wonderful products! 🤍🤍
That is AWESOME!!!!

Yes, thank you! It did last longer than I expected. ☺️
You have really pretty hair. I just got my No.0 yesterday. I can't wait to try it now! Thank you for doing this video!
Aww thank you so much.. I appreciate it! 🤍
I really like the soft & natural color of your hair. It reminds me of the color I used to get from lemon juice in the summer
Thanks! I’m growing out my highlights lol
Put a spray on top or put it into a spray bottle with a fine mist and you will saturate so much faster and save SO much product.
Thanks!
The olaplex people recommend against aerosolizing olaplex products. In other words, don't spray it
I've seen several people coughing and having breathing problems because they sprayed the product. Probably why Olaplex says not to.
@@SeeksTheTruth101 olaplex themselves have introduced no 0 in a spray bottle
I put half number 0 and half water in a spray bottle and have at it! saves so much product and time!
Love this! Makes it much easier too 💖
Olaplex says that this is not recommended as the product is not meant to be airborne
U could put product just where damage is like Mid length/ends if ur hair isn't damaged at crown
Thanks! I have some damage everywhere 😊
After how many days we need to repeat this process of no 0 and 3
Olaplex recommends every week or 2-3 times a week for damaged hair. I typically use it every other week or once a month. ☺️
Does it not say to only have no 3 for 10 mins on ur hair?
Yes, it says a minimum of 10 minutes. Longer if desired. 😊
I thought No. 0 was supposed to be applied to DAMP hair. Am I misinformed? (And the hair should be washed first so the Olaplex can get deeper into cuticle.)

Oops! Ur right Lauren. Got it confused with K18!
Oh ok! 😁
It tells you to have your hair damp, not drenched so you wouldn’t have to use the whole bottle.
Yes!
Put it inside a spray bottle it’s so much easier to apply and less product waste! That’s what I did!
Awesome idea I love that!! Thanks! I did just get a new continuous spray bottle too! ❤️
Essential Living Mommy your welcome and it saturates the hair perfect! I use the salon spray bottle type that holds its spray for like 10 seconds. They have them off amazon.
Awesome thank you! :)
I read that Olaplex discourages spray bottles because of the risk of inhaling the chemicals.
Thanks for the info! I haven't heard that before, but it makes sense! Appreciate you!
im rebonding 1week from now, can i try it? my rebond is not okey😓
I'm not sure, I've never done re bonding. Maybe someone else will answer...
Hi. Can i rinse it with a shampoo of my own choice??
Yes, you can! 😊
I just got the number 0 in today. I agree, I’ll probably use it every other time if I feel my hair needs the extra boost!
Why don’t you let 3 dry? I usually sleep with it in overnight.
You can leave it in overnight! I personally couldn’t sleep with something in my hair, and I’d have to get up really early to wash it out before my little ones got up! It’s just easier for me to get it all done in the evening 😀
oh i read on ig olaplex said: just leave 10min.
Yes 10 minutes minimum!
Because it’s gotta stay incubated (as warm and wet as possible) for the entirety of the treatment so the cuticle doesn’t close & all that good stuff is getting deep. And I leave mine on 45 min. Cover head!
Looks great, can’t wait until it’s available in Australia 👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks! I know!! ❤️

The hair is usually thinner there and also catching on yor clothing as you turn your head.
Good point!

First of all, sending hugs! 🤗 I’m not sure about losing hair, but Olaplex definitely helps with the breakage! 💖

Aww thank you so much! You are so sweet! I LOVE this comment! 🥰❤️
Try Batana it’s all natural perfect for hair loss n hair growth!!! 💕💕
I did the something you did I use the treatment # 3 after the shower
Yes, use No. 3 on wet hair. I do wash it out afterwards though. I shower after the treatment ☺️
I get those crazy curly hairs at the nape of my neck too lol And now I’m older and going grey I get those at my temples, just above my ears! So annoying lol
Oh my goodness glad I’m not the only one! Just crazy it’s only been the past few years since I was pregnant with my first! 😊
Where is the best place to buy this in the UK? Is Amazon products genuine? Thankyou for video 🙂
You never know with Amazon about quality. I also bought from Sephora. You can order directly from olaplex website for some peace of mind, as well.
Sallys (find one that not trade only) or sallys online your looking at about 30quid (after @VAT) per bottle tho
I found it available on cultbeauty. co. uk!
Thank you:)! Great job👏
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Great video...thank you...I bought all bottles except the oil.
Thank you!! 💖
Thanks!
Of course! ☺️
Does the no. 6 have the same scent as no 3.?
It’s not the same scent, but I prefer the smell of No.6! It’s a light citrus, very pleasant, and my hubby told me my hair smells nice! Always a plus! ☺️
How many times do you recommend a treatment?
Personally, I use every other week or so. Olaplex recommends every week or 2-3 times a week for damaged hair.
Do I have to wash my hair before starting??
It depends..if you have a lot of product in your hair or it’s very dirty then yes, I would wash it first. You want the product to be as effective as possible and actually get to the hair.
