The exotac Ferro rod should have a mini compass in the lid to help justify the price and add to to functionality. If I ever find the right size compass I'll glue one in there.

$60 for an item that does what a $5 item
Does is simply asking too much for me to spend. Exotac is an excellent company but that said, I simply cannot make that jump to a $60 ferro rod when a $5 bayite throws huge sparks with the pathfinder kephart xl. It really comes down to technique in the end. Definitely appreciate you going over all these products for sure!

The only problem I have with exotac gear is that it's over priced.. that's my personal opinion. Its subjective. But other than that their awesome. The only thing I've broke down & bought was the fire sleeve. Cant justify the others quite yet. Thanks for the vid. Happy New Year.
