I love the big difficult games when you play them , but games like this hold a special place. They are fun, lighthearted and the enjoyment and laughter shines through.
The word that popped into my head as soon as I seen the letter T for the answer "night" was the clue Twilight. Often times it's easier to think of the word when your sitting outside looking in. I can see where some of those letters available could really mess with a person's head trying to make something fit as a clue. Game looks very fun! Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you very much for this playthrough. It's very nice and entertaining to see and hear you thinking of answers and clues, and you joking and having fun. It makes me feel almost like I am there with you in person sharing that fun as well. Thank you for providing that! I should watch your playthrough much more often than I do. And also, while I don't mean this in any way disrespectful to any other members of your group/channels, but you four specifically are really great gamenight group, for me. I love interactions between you four while playing the best, in most playthroughs, and your jokes etc.... I miss Aaron in your group as well. Anyway, I use these opportunity to thank you all at BoardGameGeek, for all the entertaining and useful content you do. You are awesome!
Oh wow you guys were amazing on puzzle! The fun of these games is definitely watching people trying to guess and milling around answers. Great post game discussion too. Thank you all!
1:00:50 The different colors/shapes is probably a way to select from the easy words since they are at different numbers on each card. If doing the easy words you would tell them to choose from triangle, circle or square.
What we were wondering about wasn't that - the rules clearly explain those are the "easier" ones. We were wondering if there's any difference between the marked "easy" ones - green, yellow, blue/circle, square, triangle.
@@davidarnott4850 oh well, I don’t think there is any difference between them. I bet it’s just so one doesn’t have to have to take the extra step of announcing which numbers are the easy ones.
Fun game. Fun watching you all play it! Uline was an excellent clue. I thought of cardboard immediately, because I've purchased cardboard boxes from them.
14:49, I would say "twilight". Not the best, but given it is difficult, they might figure out the possibility of "night". "Time" is better than "tuxedo" and worse than "twilight". With "Twilight" as a clue, I'd probably make an off-hand remark about it being in the right general direction but not quite there. If you have coffee as a clue, why not put it together with bench?
🤣Word games can be so much fun. Watching people stupidly not able to think of things is fun. Stupidly not being able to think of things is also fun 🙂 Time begins with T 🙂 Afternoon begins with A 🙂 The opposite of awake is asleep, they even mentioned you could have played it the right way up but didn't guess Asleep. I know asleep wasn't the right answer but I would for sure have guessed it.
I like that there’s a lot of room to house rule, especially with the chatter between clue partners My idea for a variant is to make it a round table competition for the clue givers. 2 go head to head and each has a different word. They alternate, giving the other time to think of their next clue. The person who got the guessers to guess the clue gets the point. A few bugs to iron out, but I think that might help a lot of the negatives they bring up in their post discussion.
Great video! Had a lot of fun watching that! BTW Where can I upload any suggestions for future GameNight! episodes? I would really like to see "The Wolves" on this channel... Would that be possible...?
I thought for sure they would have said bedside for table. Then if they hadn't gotten it would have said island or holds and then Coffee or Picnic depending on which IH they chose.
On the easy tiles, the 3 different colours are always the same. So if you wanted to play all cards easy, you wouldn't guess numbers, but say we pick "blue/yellow/green"
Oh I thought your C clue that you (Dave) were beating yourself up over was ‘column’ to go with Deb’s ‘header’ PS. Not sure why they went with the title Sides. Cuz you have to pick from letters on the sides/edges? I don’t have a better suggestion LOL but just thought it was a weird name that didn’t really fit
If you care...it's Twitter no longer, but 'X' and the bird icon is replaced as well. (For your opening where you list contact info for the players in the vid.)
Dave's poker face while Deborah was biting her lips was hillarious. Fun episode!
Looks like a fun game, the clue-givers’ faces whenever their word got casually mentioned were great xD
I was shouting Game at the TV for the G clue for night! The answers right there in the title of your channel 😂

Could use the 'C' for corrugated as the cardboard clue 😄 Super fun episode - Lots of fun and laughs - Ty ty 🥰
I'm with you Dave, coffee was my immediate instinct for Table
The third clue, with Lincoln and Deborah guessing, was way too much fun.
50:35 lol Deborah's reaction. Kudos to Dave for keeping it so cool.
She takes it so seriously and gets SO into the games
@@alexhuxley3355 She's my gaming goddess!
Best channel for boardgame lovers. Cheers from Brazil ❤🇧🇷
Agree
Dave giving coffee as a clue for table is hilarious.
I thought that Deborah's C clue was "column", lol

Same, actually, my mind immediately yelled 'twilight' :)

I love it when you play games, like this, where we can play along at home.

One of the best episodes I have seen in a while! I wish yall could release more episodes!!
1:00:50 The different colors/shapes is probably a way to select from the easy words since they are at different numbers on each card. If doing the easy words you would tell them to choose from triangle, circle or square.
Agreed. I would imagine the expected way is color and shapes are there for color-blind people, which is awesome!

This game looks like lots of fun
I think this is better then code names. great episode
Love the camera angles! Every time I see a video with these angles and quality I’m super jealous!
Great job! Fantastic video!
Great game, nicely explored! Another one for my list. :-)
Fun game. Fun watching you all play it! Uline was an excellent clue. I thought of cardboard immediately, because I've purchased cardboard boxes from them.
51:46 I can't believe Nicki and Dave didn't sat "Boardgame" for the letter B and putting it with "Coffee".
I thought about that too, but it's two words.
They have to say one-word clues and board game is 2
Great episode, lots of fun. I would love to see the 2 player variant
I just ordered this game. Looks fun!
I thought the C word on table was "coaster". Chair was v good though. This was fun 😄

Dave is so fun!
I wanna move to wherever these guys live JUST to play games with them!
That looks good fun.
I so wanted them to say “billiard” for the one starting around 45 minutes in. 😂
Some good options for the third word was "Galahad" to the RG card, or "Time" for the T. Could go meta and say "this", as in Game Night.
🤣Word games can be so much fun.
Watching people stupidly not able to think of things is fun.

I would have said "warming" for the W with greenhouse to suggest the greenhouse effect
Great video! Had a lot of fun watching that! BTW Where can I upload any suggestions for future GameNight! episodes? I would really like to see "The Wolves" on this channel... Would that be possible...?
We will check it out! Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
How did you all keep straight face while they kept saying the word night. Lol
I thought for sure they would have said bedside for table. Then if they hadn't gotten it would have said island or holds and then Coffee or Picnic depending on which IH they chose.
I was thinking hibachi for an H word for 'table', but header was great too... Just a totally different direction.
On the easy tiles, the 3 different colours are always the same. So if you wanted to play all cards easy, you wouldn't guess numbers, but say we pick "blue/yellow/green"
TUXEDO was a bad clue because they were going in the wrong direction entirely. I would have said TWILIGHT for T
Same
15:00 why not twilight?
I assume the green yellow blue is so you can say that instead of numbers if you want an easy clue
I'm surprised Deborah didn't roll an 8-sided die out to determine her clues.
3rd clue . T......
Twilight
that is where my brain went as well
Maybe the T clue could have been Time. Fun game!
Where can you get this game? BGG was no help.
@maxwellhouse750 it was first available at Gen Con and will be available soon. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
@@boardgamegeek Thanks Lincoln. This seems like a good party game. I’d love to go to Gen Con some day.
For table. to go with Header I was thinking Cells
pajamas could look like a night time tuxedo lol
POND for P on LAKE, you could have had that one in one
46:04 Buenos dias. ☕
I’m not seeing this game available for purchase online- is this out?
In the discussion at the end, Lincoln says that it's an advance copy and the release should be soon.
Perfect, thanks :) Only made it to 51 min mark so far! Looks great though.
Just me I would of said rider for the r&g for night.
Oh I thought your C clue that you (Dave) were beating yourself up over was ‘column’ to go with Deb’s ‘header’

Oh…and I would have thought ‘times’ would have gone it’s own third column. Is that allowed?
For greenhouse I would have said botanicalbuilding :D
Botanical building is not a compound word, so it wouldn't work.
I was thinking "warming" for W.
Playing the easy game you could select green, yellow or blue instead of giving the numbers
Twilight
For night and T I was yelling taladega at my phone
For Night they could have said Good
Foot was supposed to be difficult? lol
for Night: G = gloomy
That's great. All I had was Time for T
If you care...it's Twitter no longer, but 'X' and the bird icon is replaced as well. (For your opening where you list contact info for the players in the vid.)
Podiatric for foot is kind of cheating 😅
Obviously the three colours/shapes are there so you are picking from the three colours and not numbers, duh.
