Bats are annoying on ascension because it scales their damage reduction instead of HP.
Meaning ascension bats have boosted survivability and damage, but a tiny HP pool that refills completely if they get a hit off.

You're actually insane. I'm working on a 6 challenge warrior run and have only made it to level 16

Warrior is really suffer in 6+ chal, try rogue with free runner subclass and dump a wand, or huntress with sniper subclass and some good build
