I legit started crying while watching this video. I'm a 25 year old Niner fan since birth (thanks Dad) and have literally been waiting my entire life to see the niners win the Superbowl. This 1000% feels like the year. They've worked so hard and I'm just so proud of them. Seeing them finally take home the Lombardi trophy would make me so damn happy.
Richard Sherman, Javon Hargrave and Charvarius Ward were 3 of their biggest FA acquisitions. And Javon Kinlaw is playing very well this year being top 10 in pressures.
@bentover5743 but he's still a huge acquisition. He is the reason we even have guys like Deomidorre Lenoir playing so well and how we ended up getting a vet like Gipson. There is honestly so many other smaller pieces this guy is missing entirely.
This is a cool breakdown for my wife to understand how cool it is to see this team this season. To see everything that led here. It’s exciting days for Niners football. Has been for the last few years.
As a Niner since I could remember, I can honestly say that this group, this team is special and close, they play like a brotherhood, this team is fun to watch on both sides of the ball.
You said that Purdy never returned to the Eagles game after injury, but after Josh Johnson suffered a concussion in the NFC Championship game Purdy returned to the game, but couldn't throw.
Yes he definitely went back in and played around his injury. They all did the best they could to drive the ball down the field. Worth being part of the story.
I love how the only lose so far for Purdy was late into the playoffs and after he had a torn ACl really gives confidence as long as they stay healthy I see this as the start of a new 9iners dynasty and I am here for it
Privileged to be a Bay Area sports fan. To have dominant teams born through the draft and a couple key acquisitions. Warriors (4 rings) drafted Steph Curry / Klay Thompson / Draymond Green / Jordan Poole / Barnes etc.. Giants (3 rings) drafted Buster Posey / Bumgarner / Lincecum / Panda / Crawford / Belt / Brian Wilson etc.. And you highlighted how well the Niners have done in the draft so far
Getting Charvarius Ward from the Chiefs was huge. He’s doesn’t have the flashiest numbers but he’s been shutting down a ton of wr1. Corners was our big weakest since Sherman left, but not anymore.
They played chess while the other plays checkers.. Just go back 5 or 7 drafts.. Look at all who was drafted over Kittle? He was a 5th round pick! Over Deebo who they got in the 2nd. Aiyuk a late 2nd or 3rd I forget.. Fred Warner a 3rd.. So you see their ability to see talent when other teams didn’t see it..
And don't forget Mr. Irrelevant B. Purdy, who was passed over by over 99% of the teams. I seen his college games and he was good even then, his match up against J. Hurts was a great game. I still ask my son, what was it the scouts didn't like, but it worked out great for the 49'ers, I believe this is SB VI for them.
I remember preseason watching Purdy from the stands when he was just trying to capture 3rd string. I immediately saw what he was about. Lance looked like Jimmy starring at which receiver he's going to throw to, Purdy on the other hand was scanning the field & not looking directly at who he was going to throw it to. Loved that about him, they were dumb to design run plays for Lance but regardless he's not a top tier qb he does have an arm though. Purdy WILL be our franchise qb for a long time I see happening.
As a 49ers fan who isnt the best at analyzing the full game, I was skeptical of Shanny for a while. He was nearly fired in Atlanta the year prior to his breakout, 28-3. Then when he got here, it seemed we always had crazy injuries or luck that kept us in the gutter. I never believed the hype that we were a playoff team. Then 2020 happened and since then theyve been amazing consistently. Lots of those injuries and bad luck hampering us. But we have a solid window now with Brock. Time to see if he can finally put it together for a trophy
Aaron banks would be added to this video if it was made next year. Guy is a top notch guard like Iupati back in the day. Most importantly look at the salary cap hits of your top 10 players this year and you basically have 7 all pros and 3 pro bowlers. No dead money. And a qb making 900k.
banks is a anchor piece and not a key to the franchise. there is so many players like him on the niners, its funny banks went from almost all fans calling him a bust after his bad showing due to a long period of not playing to a guard that be sustained on the niners because hus name isnt that big and a small sample size. we could pay him most likely
Great video! But you got one thing wrong. Brock Purdy did return to the NFC Championship Game when the backup QB got hurt. He couldn’t throw but he did finish the game.
And this year they have been extremely healthy. We're due on that. Suffered enough injuries over the last several seasons. Can't have such bad luck for too long.
You forgot to mention the 4th string also got injured in the nfc game and purdy did actually come back in the nfc game beacuse we had no qb but we only ran the ball and one pass when injured purdy came back in
The 49ers organization as a whole is truly an incredible institution. One of the reasons the team has done so well at identifying and developing player talent (both later-round draft picks and low-cost free agents) is that Lynch and Shanahan have also done a great job at finding and developing great coaches and front office staff. The rest of the league has taken serious notice, as we've seen 3 HCs (Mike McDaniels, Robert Saleh, and Demeco Ryans) and 2 GMs (Martin Mayhew and Ran Carthon) hired out of the 49ers' organization in just the last three years - other teams want a piece of what the Niners are doing. Between those coaching/GM hires and the team constantly sending out higher-value free agents than they bring in, the Niners have received tons of extra compensatory picks in the last several drafts (constantly at or near the most of any team), which they can use to keep replenishing the roster. It's a great system, which looks like it can be sustainable for the long-term, especially combined with a handful of smart free-agent signings and trades to shore up the last remaining weak points.
kyle part of nfl royalty, it was the reason jed gave full control to a 1st time HC with what was the msot power that a hc could have for their first HC job. being part of nfl royalty made this coaching staff with a much higher amount of quality position coaches and also could get replacements as good or nearly as good as their poached coaches they lost every year. kyle also hired a blackballed coach to be in the back ground....forster was one fo the highest paid position coach in the nfl but hoes and blow got him fired and got the ron washington treatment. kris k knew where he was going after his contract was up, they tried to hire him from the lions and was told no which kris wasnt happy the lions didnt allow him to go. which he is aruably the biest position coach in the nfl but his coaching just like kyle's was not the norm but fit perfectly with kyles coaching. the position coaches will never get enough crerdit for things because most nfl fans dont even think that dee which is fine but i also try to make that clear when i can because its true
Love this video. Just 4 things you missed? 1. We also traded for WARD. 2. We also have 2 all pro d-linemen ARMSTEAD & HARGRAVE. 3. Our rookie kickers hasn't missed a kick yet. 4. The past few years, we've lost DC SALAH, OC MCDANIELS, DC RYANS!
Um, actually… Purdy in fact DID return to the NFC Championship game, after Josh Johnson got hurt. He only threw 2 passes and was basically playing with one arm, but he still came back.
20-0 man. I've been thinkin that since week 2. We got a B game, and they beared down and made sure in the second half. I think the offensive improvement was expected. Easily a better offence than the dolphins. Because they can do it in any kind of game, against any defense. The team is focused on something else, legit one play at a time, for an end goal reason. They even know 20-0 doesn't matter. They could luck out, squeak in at 10-7, win the ship, and it's the same thing.
Great video but I have a correction to make. Brock Purdy did return to the NFC Championship game last year after Josh Johnson suffered a concussion. All Purdy was really capable of was handing the ball off at that point though because he needed surgery on that elbow.
Dont forget the Right Guard with insane potential Spencer Burford, yes there may be some times where he lets the Dline pressure the QB too much but with time our offense can mold him into the next Trent Williams
Purdy did return to the NFC championship game, it also shows how much balls that kid's got. Played an NFL game with a damn torn elbow. He obviously just wasn't able to throw the ball hence why they lost.
All of the Walsh championship teams, Seifert's 1994 team, and Harbaugh's Super Bowl team have shown a tremendous camaraderie. This team, however, has the strongest bond among teammates, and I think has yet to hit its peak this season. I don't see them undefeated through the entire season, although it's a possibility, but I think their record will be 15-2.
Welllllllp, that didn't go as planned. Vegas is undefeated...... No way in hell would they allow 94% of the betting public to cash that -7 on the 9ers.
I clearly remember the Green Bay win and going to my middle school the next day happy bragging to my science teacher who was a Green Bay fan then watching the Super Bowl with my dad who’s been a Niners fan since 1987 was a rough game but I’m really confident now but not cocky in our team we still got a way to go ❤️🤍
Secure 1st seed while resting mccaffery as MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Use the other weapons AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. Don’t do the colts “take all starters out and lose the last game bc you don’t need the wins” Take the important players out but make sure they get at least 50% reps and play. Don’t burn any trick/high brain plays if you don’t need to.
More fun stuff, in Chip Kelly's last year as coach near the end of the season in a meaningless game against the Rams with 3 minutes left the 49ers actually had a drive down the field, and a number of passes to Rod Streater (who? yeah exactly), gave the 49ers 20, still down by just 1 point. But Chip Kelly giving the finger to the fans decide to go for 2 which they made putting them up 22-21 with 30 seconds left in the game. Why is this bad? Well this allowed the Browns to get the #1 overall pick, which they picked Myles Garrett and the 49ers got some guy who was played out of position and had some family issues Solomon Thomas. Now if they had Garrett they may not have gotten Bosa, we don't know Jimmy going down was primarily that problem. But I shiver to think a situation where we had both Bosa and Garrett opposite each other. 2019 the Lombardi comes back to SF, 2021 the Lombardi comes back to SF, 2022 if Purdy gets hurt same result happens but chances are we can't afford Bosa, or we have to cut other key players
Eh....even if we didn't get Garrett, we could have gotten Mahomes. That would have given us 3 more Lombardi's in the trophy case. I had Thomas pegged as no better than a 4th or 5th round pick, and I wasn't wrong. I was furious when we drafted him at number 3. Worst whiff in franchise history, and we'll always be wondering "what if".
One nitpick… I’m pretty sure Purdy went back in after hurting his elbow because our 4th string got hurt (concussion maybe?) so Purdy HAD to go back in and handoff the ball over and over and Philly knew it. It sucked so I remember it well.
The 49ers have spanked what were good defenses coming in, the Phins are still riding on the 70 points a horribly prepared horrible performing Broncos defense.
You were correct that they would go far, but they did lose to the Ravens pretty badly, and the Chiefs just beat the Ravens, pretty badly, and so we will see if they truly are the best team when they face one of the best Defenses & Offenses found in the KC Chiefs. (Granted the Chief's Offense is wholly underrated due to the regular season results, but now have one of the best defensive coordinators in the NFL, so it's going to be TOUGH For them in the Super Bowl, zero doubt!)
If the San Francisco 49ers tackle football team goes undefeated it will up to the defense. The offense will have to slow down at some point and the defense will have to takeover...
Niners could have 2 Super Bowl wins in the last 5 years if Garrapolo could run a 2 minute drive. He was good but he was never ‘the guy’. I wouldn’t mind a 17-0 regular season, but I’d much rather they go 16-1 or 15-2 and win the Super Bowl. They might need a late season loss to get rid of any potential complacency if they keep steamrolling teams.
I'm a 49ers fan and yes this team is great. But no holes? I think the 49ers are not that great at corner. The 49ers could use another solid corner opposite of Charvarius Ward. If they could add a really good corner (Patrick Surtain) and move Lenoir to the slot then that would fill in that hole! Jeremy Chinn might be a good option since he could play nickel, safety, and rush the passer. But they are pretty average against the pass and Ambry Thomas is a huge liability. Also, the offensive line has played ok, but most fans would like to see a little bit of improvement.
I would LOVE to get Surtain! Right now, we've got nobody who can stop Hill if we have to play them in the SB. So it's either scheme around him, or get to Tua before he can bolt.
Absolutely true. But at the same time, it's a testament to how many picks Shanahan and Lynch have gotten right that they have the team that we see on the field right now, IN SPITE of those first-round misses, including Lance who I would consider the biggest bust of all time (based on how much they traded for him).
They wasted like 75% of their first round picks and they are still stacked. They can find talent in day 2 and day 3 of the draft and even undrafted players. Their coaching staff elevates castoffs from other teams who signed cheap deals.
When the O Line is a squad of smart white players, then we know the HC really knows wtf he’s doing. They beat you with their brains first, THEN beat you with your muscles 💯
Whiffing on Mahomes for Solomon Thomas will haunt me for years. We could have had 3 more SB wins right now with this team. I had Thomas pegged as no better than a 4th or 5th round pick. Easily the worst pick and whiff in franchise history.
i just wanna say, chip was much better coach than he got credit for, jed didnt allow the niners to go ham with signing a high amount of FA's considering how much cap they had and rolled over to kyle and lynch. that 49er rsoter was most likely the worse roster in 49er history and 100% should have gone 0-16 but they beat the rams both times some how. i dont believe that chip was ever going to get more than one season, jed had his eyes on the shanahans after harbaugh was gone, his dad and him were the the last people before signing tomsula because jed wasn ready to give up the control he wanted still because of course the shanahans are demanding how they want to do thingss and want a lot of control. jed then over 2 years saw his dad not coach again and he was putting up historic offense for his 2nd year as the OC and he decided to give up the control at least to someone who cares about the franchise more than a normal coach. 2 years of a god awful football while also learning a very expensive footbal less for the cost of 40 million dollars. kyle actually almost turned the job down because he was worried about jed getting in the way and jed promised and gave him the keys to the franchise with as much control he possibly could want. also be able to get an actual friend as the GM was probably the icing on the cake.
Predict the 49ers record
15-2
16-1 and we lose to the Seahawks once, probably in Seattle.
i'm only saying this because i'm scared to say we'll go undefeated.
14-3
Undefeated + SB Win
14-3 and at least making to nfc championship
CMC was the last infinity stone and Brock is the glove that holds them all.
It's called a "Guantlet"

With a snap, the Niners can make the 17 week regular season disappear…🤔

Fred Warner made an impact immediately just saying
In 2018 you said they didn’t have a 1st Rd pick. Then you show McGlinchey at #9. 🤔
To be fair… I try and forget we had McFlinchy too…
1 game at a time
17-0 and the Lombardi trophy.
keep makin nfl vids bro
You were correct that they would go far, but they did lose to the Ravens pretty badly, and the Chiefs just beat the Ravens, pretty badly, and so we will see if they truly are the best team when they face one of the best Defenses & Offenses found in the KC Chiefs.
(Granted the Chief's Offense is wholly underrated due to the regular season results, but now have one of the best defensive coordinators in the NFL, so it's going to be TOUGH For them in the Super Bowl, zero doubt!)
these videos need multiple thumbnails. Like swipe the dots to the next 5 all pros
You said 49ers didn't have a first round pick in the 2018, then showed them picking McGlintchey at pick 9
we don’t talk about Mcglinchey 😂
@@fhdez91 All that mentoring from Staley....wasted.
💛❤️💛❤️
Now after them dropping 3 straight, it looks like Philly is the best total team right now as of Nov 2023
It’s come back season baby 😂
PERFECTION
Go Browns!
Jesus Christ loves everybody
You just said we didn’t have a first round pick in 2018… then you showed a screenshot of mike mcglinchey going #9 overall
If the San Francisco 49ers tackle football team goes undefeated it will up to the defense. The offense will have to slow down at some point and the defense will have to takeover...
Their only weakness is injuries
Kyle took the niners from 2-14 to regular superbowl contenders
Brock totally returned to nfc championship game with the eagles and told KS … ok but I can’t throw the ball very far.
To hell with that.....we could probably have three or more if we had drafted Mahomes instead of Solomon Thomas. That shit will haunt me for years.
Niners look'n good this year, but let's be real, we're coming up on 30 years since their last SB victory.
If there's any year for them to win it it's this year
I'm a 49ers fan and yes this team is great.
I don't know yet so I am Hadden is hiding I am not talking about my family story style those two guys were watching that show okay is my real record.
Nice video man.
Just imagine if they didn’t miss on so many 1st round picks
Absolutely true. But at the same time, it's a testament to how many picks Shanahan and Lynch have gotten right that they have the team that we see on the field right now, IN SPITE of those first-round misses, including Lance who I would consider the biggest bust of all time (based on how much they traded for him).
this is a fucking stupid comment, belichck hasnt had the greatest history with first rounders and built the team by more picks and coaching them.
They wasted like 75% of their first round picks and they are still stacked. They can find talent in day 2 and day 3 of the draft and even undrafted players.
Their coaching staff elevates castoffs from other teams who signed cheap deals.
Take that first L baby, more to come
I think they could legitimately go 16-1.
I think 17-0
This might be a little bit of hindsight but their DBs have been terrible for awhile now barring ofc hufanga
This aged well lol /s 10 wins max
I'm from the future and they win against the dolphins to take the crown and go undefeated
Doing my research on the 49ers before the Super Bowl because Taylor swift made me turn on my own team
Easily the worst pick and whiff in franchise history.
your lack of love for #44 is duly noted.
15-2! 😉
Keep telling yourself that
20 - 0!!!
And then they add Chase Young 😅
i just wanna say, chip was much better coach than he got credit for, jed didnt allow the niners to go ham with signing a high amount of FA's considering how much cap they had and rolled over to kyle and lynch. that 49er rsoter was most likely the worse roster in 49er history and 100% should have gone 0-16 but they beat the rams both times some how. i dont believe that chip was ever going to get more than one season, jed had his eyes on the shanahans after harbaugh was gone, his dad and him were the the last people before signing tomsula because jed wasn ready to give up the control he wanted still because of course the shanahans are demanding how they want to do thingss and want a lot of control. jed then over 2 years saw his dad not coach again and he was putting up historic offense for his 2nd year as the OC and he decided to give up the control at least to someone who cares about the franchise more than a normal coach.
16-1 beat Miami in the super bowl
15-2 or 16-1
Who you think they losing to?
Only 1 loss regular season. Going to the superbowl
