Your information is priceless. I truly appreciate the information you guys share. I tend to either learn something new with every video or I'm confronted with a concern I did not even realize yet. Thank you guys for what you share once again.
I love this channel. Good and informative content. Once i get my hands on a proper car and a little place to swing the wrench... ill buy every single course i can effort. Beeing a student sucks regarding this.
We have a whole course specific to PDU's, and yes the knowledge in there applies to Hatlechs PDU/PDM products too 😎 - www.hpacademy.com/courses/pdm-installation-and-configuration? - Taz.
Ahh yeah, sorry for missing that out. It's embedded in the module in the course this content is from rather than an attachment which is why we missed it. I've popped it in the link below along with some info on sizing for PDMs which is a little different. I will flesh this out into something more useful when I have a bit more time next week, but it gives you the missing chart either way and I hope that helps🤘 - Taz. www.hpacademy.com/blog/wire-sizing-quick-guide
Aren't the injectors controlled by the ECU? I'm not aware of any circuit protection between the computer and injectors on either the power or switching circuits, at least not in Ford's EEC system.
noobie here.. In a standalone aftermarket ecu, the injectors are activated by a grounding at the ecu. The power to the injectors is supplied externally...usually from a relay/fuse... same for the ignition coils... There is only 1 wire from the ecu that connects to the injector... a ground wire.. I hope I'm right.. someone else will chime in and correct maybe
We source a lot from Element14, but your location really determines your best supplier, along with your quantity. Check out this thread, you'll find a few options: www.hpacademy.com/forum/efi-wiring-fundamentals/show/wiring-and-accessories-suppliers-list Hope that helps dude - Taz.
Zac 100% has a dependency on breathing. Time for an intervention you reckon? =P On a serious note, if that annoys you then hit mute and use the captions to avoid it would be my advice. They're not the half-assed auto-captions either ;) Hope it helps and let me know how you get on - Taz.
To me the info density is on such a high level I didn't really notice any pauses because my brain was busy processing :D Obviously coming from an amateur.
Brilliant , have been looking for a site like this for ages !
Glad you found us! Hope the content helps you and your wiring project/s 🤘 -Taz.
This course is so fucking good. Worth every penny and then some. Thank you guys.
This channel is life😏

This was an awesome video
Hope it helped :) - Taz.
ccc of Cable >/= fuse curve > load. don’t forget derating for temperature and grouped circuits and fixing. Voltage drop also needs to be calculated.
Y'all need to re-release this working with the new haltech PDU's!

@@mikedsilva no, you're about right, most ford EEC systems I've worked with work that way too.

Can you please edit out when you breath in, it's kind of distracting......
