Yeah but it depends. If you WANT to play a robot, I think there's a better ancestry for that. If you want to play a Machine Person, play a Memonek. It's a hard distinction to pin down, but an important one I think.

Alien alternative biochemistry sounds much cooler than "someone made this people to kill stuff", which feels like most ancestry origins in fantasy. :D
