With utmost respect for everyone.
I believe that no style is better than the other.
Its the individuals that's better than each other, through hard training and dedication to their art.
I've taken many martial arts but i love this one.oss
I've been training for almost 5 years in aikido and just jitsu and when I train it ain't for no competition!
Verry impressed, i am a martial artist from holland with more than 25 years experience. From watching i can tell This is mastery and i salute you!
To this day I can't understand the mindset of people talking negatively about another martial art. I don't study this but I have friends who do and I respect them for TRAINING in the art that they like. It's funny when people comment on a demo like it is a street fight or even a cage match. I have seen plenty of videos where people mount a non resistant heavy bag and rain down elbows and punches on an object that can't hit back and I look at it as a training exercise. For those who feel this isn't effective I challenge you to go find a school and respectfully ask to feel some of what they do. I believe you can't speak on an art or technique if you have never had that technique applied to you. I have 7+ years training in Diato Ryu (Kodokai) Aikijujutsu and I respect all who train in any art as long as they are not idiots!!!
That little boy so impressive!
It shouldn't be a surprise about the disrespect, black martial artist have been disrespected from the beginning but who gives a fuck you know within yourself what you can do so who cares what others believe.
Beautiful form the young boy was doing. I hope he could continue & possibly be a instructor or in the movies.
This is truly beautiful and a great tribute to Professor Moses Powell such a graceful and deadly art and this also shows the love of allah in action the merciful sustainer of all.Peace
Love it the tribute.
Love Moses Powell!
I understand where both enthusiasts and skeptics come from. I am a VSK Ju Jitsu black belt who also has trained in BJJ by the Roger Gracie Academy in Cagliari (Italy), briefly in Krav Maga, Haganah and something the public would better recognise as PFS by Paul Vunak. Fact: when I stepped in the gym by the Roger Gracie Academy I got my ass kicked by 90% of the guys there... but VSK, Sanuces etc. don't really have a ground fighting program. They give you tools that you can adapt to different situations, but it's up to you to evolve and learn more. Some of the concepts this small JuJitsu community give you is nothing but gold and I can guarantee they freaking work. Every system has its limits, INCLUDING MMA. I could spend days trying to convince cage fighters that the dynamic of an aggression / ambush led by multiple attackers has little to nothing in common with that of a schoolyard brawl where a fighter could actually use his MMA training... but I would probably be wasting my time. Even the beautiful Gracie Ju Jitsu has weak spots, even if it allows to annihilate your opponent in a 1 on 1 fight on the ground. Bottom line: should VSK JU JITSU, Sanuces, Kumite etc. instructors upgrade the way they train themselves and their students? FUCK YEAH. Should they do so by standardising their arsenal to look exactly like that of other MMA oriented systems? NO WAY IN HELL. If you believe you know all about martial arts, humble up and do as I do: spot the weaknesses of the system you are practicing, swallow your pride and go to somebody else who teaches something which specifically addresses the part of the game you are lacking on... then speak if you wish to do so.Study, respect and love what you are doing: you'll live longer, ass hole.
pretty much says it all
Nicola Porceddu good point
Every Martial Art lacks something...Muay Thai, which is my favorite also likes in ground fighting, but it is one of the best and most brutal ways to defeat and detain someone. Boxing is also another example where as BJJ and Wrestling are great for groundfighting, but lack standup. So while I feel that every true Martial Artist should master at least 2 disciples (1 standing and one ground) I do not think that the VSK system needs to change at all. It is prove that it works don't believe, try taking one one of the FOI members as they will spar with you...
thanks for the contribute to moses powell, that kid is awesome, he will b a great warrior n due tyme
Oss! The Legendary Dr. Moses Powell was "The Teachers of Teachers!" He developed Sanuces Ryu Jiu Jitsu for all people of all nations. We have Sanuces Instructors who are of Caucasian ethnic background like Grandmaster Gino, Prof. Tom Curry, Shihans Khris and Eric Allen...just to name a few of many that are available.
Thank you Scott for the intelligent post! I'm glad someone's see's the big picture!
FACT: Moses Powell was the first martial artist invited to perform a demonstration in front of the United Nations and One of the first African Americans to instruct the DEA, FBI, and the Secret Service in martial arts. Research the Great MOSE POWELL Master Musa Muhammad
With all due respect to the grandmaster. Why would you train your enemy.
...and now we know why they shoot first
Great video i love this training
Great 💯👍 unsung martial arts 🥋 warrior 🪖!!
wow! good film work. i gotta get this dude to film my show!
TRUTH AND HAPPINESS WITH PROTECTION.
It's incredible to watch these guys, their style seems to incorporate a lot of Wing Chun grabs/locks in succession with their style. I'd definitely train under these guys if they had a dojo in my state
I'm not a master. But I'm a military veteran and was a detention officer where I was responsible for 60 inmates. They dont reveal everything here, but their strategies work. And there at countless hidden techniques around the world, that are still unknown
i need to learn this
This is the art that the US government was taught by the legend himself
Back before real combatives like gracie jj
with all due respect, I see all of these negative comments that this particular art is bs and yet, NO ONE IS OPENLY CHALLEGING ANY OF THE MASTERS OR THEIR STUDENTS.
I respect all of the arts and any of the techniques can be applied to the street. The goal is that you go home safe and sound.
djbigsmooth thank you my thoughts exactly
Like how? A dojo storm. A newspapr article advertisement like Helio Gracie? Its more the job of the art to challenge itself
I love the martial arts.
nices my brethers the Lord jesus bless you
Awesome I have trained martial arts 60 years
To all the haters and non believers trust me these techniques will work on the street! Grand Master Anthony Muhammed is the fucking Truth! I'm not saying these mma guys are not great fighter's but on the street there are no rules, no ring, no guys in tights and no one on one competitions! Can a mma guy defend himself or herself against a multiple attack or a weapon?
Yes I am sure they would work against the average shlub your size or a little smaller. Not an athletic guy your size or larger. Youd need real technique for that. Bjj, judo, wrestling, boxing, muay thai not this garbage.
Ahh, another fine tribute the supreme grand master of one of the worlds universals languages, "pain."
Ous!
02:23 that lil kid def earned his belt.
Supreme grandmasters
all these men have too much LOVE to have any hate. i know them personally.
and THIS we learn foremost from the DR.
PEACE AND BLESSINGS to the Sanuces family.*7)
nice! smooth and DEADLY! osu
OUSSSS!!
All the people talking negative shows how you'd teach a student.
Where can I find that poem? Shit was awesome!
I believe it's to show the student the control mechanism and some of the techniques you can use or combinations.
To answer your question xxxsssxxxsss, "EYE-TO-EYE" means Face To Face, Up Close and Personal Baby! Not backing up and running, or being a Coward!!! Oss!
By the way can anyone tell me what he got his Doctorate in?....I cant find that info
My master is there LUSK PEN
Interesting. I currently train with Professor Sauer along with the styles I teach(Ashihara, Kajukenbo, boxing). Which martial artist do you recommend? I have had the great fortune to have trained with some of the best martial artists of my lifetime and I still find myself learning. I have trained with 2 of the 3 you listed in your follow up post(still have not trained with Rorian). Please, name someone for me.. You may want to learn some humility. JMHO.
OUS 🤲🏾
Ous first get the knowledge, wisdom, and the understanding, but get the comprehension.Be to born.
Who’s the instructor with the dreads?
This is real street combat training. Thank you my fellow Brothers for sharing such wonderful and effective knowledge here. Keep up the good work. Brother Michael L. Ellis
is it battle tested? Any videos of resisting opponents?
Rorian and Royce and Royler have been using these type of guys as Mat testers for years ..........no response necessary!
where is this?
Yeah why don't you come down here, and I'll show you how it works.
The guy at the end of the video, was he praising Allah? Couldn't hear that well. Is this an Islamic martial art, or are many of it's students followers of Malcom-X and the Nation of Islam?
Mostly his students are Muslim,&Black bit not all.
If your "Chi" is right, then you'll love & embrace this vid. Skills coming together for good, not bad.
Chi? Unreal.
That's his students.
I believe that you read about a few guys in a MMA Magazine and like most pick-up on a few names like sauer for the record I got my start at Beverly hills bjj then moved to Atlanta and trained and competed under alliances Jacare sportsfan!
Can I assume that one of Dr. Powell's students has continued his teachings? Who and where are they located?
Professor Muumba Hassan Abdur-Rahman - www.wazi-ryu.com/home.php
Sifu A. S. Umar Sharif, MA - www2.pvc.maricopa.edu/hs/directory.html
I know one I’m currently training with the guy is no joke his name is master Seku he’s a grand master also and trained with Dr. Powell in New York years ago. But we’re in the Detroit area.
@@quan6079 shit don’t work
I know it's useless but its still fun to watch
George Dillman,Moses Powell, Ed Parker,+ Big Belly= Grandmaster!
Interesting. I have known about Mr. Powell for many years. I remember hearing of him when I was young, back in the 80's.
Is there a question of him being racist or not? I have no opinion one way or the other, I am just curious.
Just to be clear here, I am nto defending these guys nor am I saying that they are legit martial artists. I am just telling you to be respectful. If you are legit, then it does not matter to you if they are, or are not, legit. Anytime you are in the Midwest, please let me know. You are more than welcome to come by our school.
@njdevils5790 - The Legendary Dr. Moses Powell was "The Teacher of Teachers!" and that was regardless of what nationality a person was. Sanuces Ryu Jiu Jitsu was not tailored to just one race of people. It is a complete system of Self-Defense for all nations of people. We have instructors like Grandmaster Gino, Prof. Tom Curry, Shihans Eric and Khris Allen...just to name a few of the many Caucasian Sanuces Ryu Instructors.
So true I trained under Dr,Moses Powell in Atlanta for 3 years and continued with other of his students and masters in jui jitsu The Legendary Dr. Moses Powell was "The Teacher of Teachers!" and that was regardless of what nationality a person was. Sanuces Ryu Jiu Jitsu was not tailored to just one race of people. I also trained with Shihans Eric and Khris Allen. in Atlanta who I met thru Dr.Powell The Allen brothers were one of many Caucasian martial artist ..just to name a few of the many Caucasian Sanuces Ryu Instructors. And the boys could fight they were not paper tigers. You are looking at techniques to be used in combination with other skills and striking points this is real when applied properly.
Ous.
They said verbal martial arts, mental martial arts.Physical martial arts.
why does sanuces display so much handwork when its not necessary? If you are in a confrontation reality tells me that you dont have the time to be punching 4 or 5 times before you put someone down. One effective strike along with a wrist lock is sufficient.

xD in the beginning, It sounds like a Black Eyes Peas song.
Ous, the price to pay, not to go astray. Where is the creator until this day???
While no martial art technique is 100% effective I have found Sanuces to be Street proven most martial arts is designed for fighting other martial artists and are in many cases ineffective in a street fight (of course there are some to the rule) I have had the experience of taking on multiple attackers (Brooklyn,NY go figure) and I prevailed using Sanuces techniques. Katas are muscle memory training that teach you how to react on instinct and in a real fight should not be followed step by step
That's aikido with a different name though 😟
There were whites in these videos are you blind....anyway I am glad see fellow martial artists of all colors and creeds...this is good for the world
Sausage is the greatest
This stuff has been exposed on the west coast for a long time now
this stuff comes from the old 1960's type guys who royce and rorian gracie used when demonstrating bbj.
Hey man, I not starting anything here, but you think maybe you could show some respect to these guys? You strike me like a MMA fanboy and not a martial artist of any type. Again, not starting anything with you, you are just being very disrespectful. I normally let things slide, until I see you bashing Mr. Parker. Just try to be a bit more respectful to everyone, even if you don't like a particular style.
No Racism here, but this obviously has no combat application!
When did you get out of jail Shindango?, and who paid your bail? anyway you are going to have a hard time adjusting to life without jailhouse commisary
I am in no way obligated to Honor anyone who takes money from others under false pretenses and i am not by myself in this thinking I live on the west coast were the Judokas of japan first touched down as well as the Brazilians who settled in Torrance Ca, and most of us that practice hard understand this !
Those forms were pretty impressive but the whole "supreme grandmaster" thing is ridiculous. This is the same stuff you see in all those hybrid martial arts with dubious origins... inflated titles, flashy uniforms, katas and one-step (ten-step??) self defense techniques.
I don't doubt the guy was strong or gifted but... "supreme grandmaster"? This all reeks of some kind of fantasy.
"NO PUNK ASS IN SANUCES RYU!!!" This is the Raw Meaning using the Street Language of Sanuces...
I don't think you know what a Martial Artist is but why dont you try working out with a legitimate martial artist (one that isn't being spanked by the gracies) then tell me what you think of theses guys Kata King/tornament Tag
to all those bjj loving the karmasutra positions yes that Shit is good in the ring I enjoy it too but u got no chance in the street , while you doing the 69 position a few mates will be on top of you right away , u will have no chance in hell. ju Jitsu on the other hand works in real time in and out real quick, no need to go on the ground. ... so yes in competition in the ring a bjj guy would dominate as it's 1 V 1 especially if they are good at it and having rules helps
don't you loved seeing so many keyboard self-proclaimed martial artist bashing other art like they are the best :D :D :D
for those keyboard martial art suckers; if you ever survived after faced 2 mugger where one of them holding a baseball bat and the other holding a crowbar, i guarantee you won't say such stupid bullshits o_O
Ous, next time don't show me any man that is not just for me
Shindango you still trolling these sites. I told you that this was an MMA site this is not a site for down-low clowns!
I want to see this put on some gloves and spare. Doing all those moves on someone that is letting you do it means nothing.
thats pretty cool looking i must admit but as far as effectiveness a Amateur boxer would Destroy all of them
Stop watching basketball. Start watching how to defend yourself without a weapon. IJS
@carlmills100 - I was there and there were Whites - both as Masters demonstrating and spectators. I am Native Caribbean - from the Arawak Nation, so I have no inclination to either. I am a Hebrew Israelite. There was no form or sense of racism at all. The only racism that seems to be present is yours - trying to find fault in a gathering where the majority of the participants were people are of Color. Those present on the video were those chosen to demonstrate due to their association with GM.
I have heard these claims before whereby a guy claims to have trained with all masters foreign and domestic. my personal belief is that your a fraud who misrepresents Bjj by comparing these frauds to Rorian, and Royce
Hahahaha this stuff is hilarious! The problem is, if people train this and think they are really learning an effective self defense style then its dangerous, because they are not realistically preparing themselves for any situation on the street. Yes MMA is a sport with rules, but don't you think learning techniques that work on trained fighters is a better idea than techniques trained on people standing still, allowing there bodies to be manipulated? Do these guys spar/roll regularly to try there techniques out? "glorified cage fighting for entertainment purposes"???? ummmmm how about the biggest step forward in effective martial arts techniques the world has ever seen and the progression gets better and better. Mate if it works in the cage we know its going to work in the street, if it works on some dude standing in a hall allowing his body to be manipulated I would strongly doubt if its going to work in the street so well. The little dude at the end with the bo staff was awesome though, keep training man. On the plus side I would like to join this style just to get one of your pimp gi's haha they are awesome, would you let a white dude come join your academy seriously, I want that brown gi with flowing robes. Yeah I bet if Anderson was fighting in the street he would tell you that a correct straight right to the jaw would be a lot more effective than an open palm strike to the collarbone. Please please if you really train this and think your grappling style is effective, go find yourself a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school and go have a roll. Just don't be surprised why people aren't allowing you to throw them through the air like a kung fu movie, or when the 100 pound purple belt girl taps you 20 times in 5mins. I am sure some of the wrist lock stuff is effective though, but again its a lot lot hard to execute on an opponent who is resisting. They only way to train it effectively, is to train on people who are resisting and in turn are trying to tap you. That's the only way to have a high percentage success in a real situation and the only way to find out if a technique really works. Nothing but love for anyone who train's martial arts though, Ossssss!
Cole Clune uhhh these guys actually fight in the streets. No refs around to break it up. Dumb ass.
One of the masters of this style was a white dude. In Boston.
Sanuces is fake, as you are, there is no such word in the Asian lexicon as sanuces, and Moses was similarly fake!
bullshit-straight bullshit.
Moses would destroy micheal jai White
No tf he wouldn’t 😭😭😭💀
Ous.
