    With utmost respect for everyone.
I believe that no style is better than the other.
Its the individuals that's better than each other, through hard training and dedication to their art.

To this day I can't understand the mindset of people talking negatively about another martial art. I don't study this but I have friends who do and I respect them for TRAINING in the art that they like. It's funny when people comment on a demo like it is a street fight or even a cage match. I have seen plenty of videos where people mount a non resistant heavy bag and rain down elbows and punches on an object that can't hit back and I look at it as a training exercise. For those who feel this isn't effective I challenge you to go find a school and respectfully ask to feel some of what they do. I believe you can't speak on an art or technique if you have never had that technique applied to you. I have 7+ years training in Diato Ryu (Kodokai) Aikijujutsu and I respect all who train in any art as long as they are not idiots!!!

It shouldn't be a surprise about the disrespect, black martial artist have been disrespected from the beginning but who gives a fuck you know within yourself what you can do so who cares what others believe.

I understand where both enthusiasts and skeptics come from. I am a VSK Ju Jitsu black belt who also has trained in BJJ by the Roger Gracie Academy in Cagliari (Italy), briefly in Krav Maga, Haganah and something the public would better recognise as PFS by Paul Vunak. Fact: when I stepped in the gym by the Roger Gracie Academy I got my ass kicked by 90% of the guys there... but VSK, Sanuces etc. don't really have a ground fighting program. They give you tools that you can adapt to different situations, but it's up to you to evolve and learn more. Some of the concepts this small JuJitsu community give you is nothing but gold and I can guarantee they freaking work. Every system has its limits, INCLUDING MMA. I could spend days trying to convince cage fighters that the dynamic of an aggression / ambush led by multiple attackers has little to nothing in common with that of a schoolyard brawl where a fighter could actually use his MMA training... but I would probably be wasting my time. Even the beautiful Gracie Ju Jitsu has weak spots, even if it allows to annihilate your opponent in a 1 on 1 fight on the ground. Bottom line: should VSK JU JITSU, Sanuces, Kumite etc. instructors upgrade the way they train themselves and their students? FUCK YEAH. Should they do so by standardising their arsenal to look exactly like that of other MMA oriented systems? NO WAY IN HELL. If you believe you know all about martial arts, humble up and do as I do: spot the weaknesses of the system you are practicing, swallow your pride and go to somebody else who teaches something which specifically addresses the part of the game you are lacking on... then speak if you wish to do so.Study, respect and love what you are doing: you'll live longer, ass hole.

Every Martial Art lacks something...Muay Thai, which is my favorite also likes in ground fighting, but it is one of the best and most brutal ways to defeat and detain someone. Boxing is also another example where as BJJ and Wrestling are great for groundfighting, but lack standup. So while I feel that every true Martial Artist should master at least 2 disciples (1 standing and one ground) I do not think that the VSK system needs to change at all. It is prove that it works don't believe, try taking one one of the FOI members as they will spar with you...

I'm not saying these mma guys are not great fighter's but on the street there are no rules, no ring, no guys in tights and no one on one competitions! Can a mma guy defend himself or herself against a multiple attack or a weapon?

While no martial art technique is 100% effective I have found Sanuces to be Street proven most martial arts is designed for fighting other martial artists and are in many cases ineffective in a street fight (of course there are some to the rule) I have had the experience of taking on multiple attackers (Brooklyn,NY go figure) and I prevailed using Sanuces techniques. Katas are muscle memory training that teach you how to react on instinct and in a real fight should not be followed step by step

Hahahaha this stuff is hilarious! The problem is, if people train this and think they are really learning an effective self defense style then its dangerous, because they are not realistically preparing themselves for any situation on the street. Yes MMA is a sport with rules, but don't you think learning techniques that work on trained fighters is a better idea than techniques trained on people standing still, allowing there bodies to be manipulated? Do these guys spar/roll regularly to try there techniques out? "glorified cage fighting for entertainment purposes"???? ummmmm how about the biggest step forward in effective martial arts techniques the world has ever seen and the progression gets better and better. Mate if it works in the cage we know its going to work in the street, if it works on some dude standing in a hall allowing his body to be manipulated I would strongly doubt if its going to work in the street so well. The little dude at the end with the bo staff was awesome though, keep training man. On the plus side I would like to join this style just to get one of your pimp gi's haha they are awesome, would you let a white dude come join your academy seriously, I want that brown gi with flowing robes. Yeah I bet if Anderson was fighting in the street he would tell you that a correct straight right to the jaw would be a lot more effective than an open palm strike to the collarbone. Please please if you really train this and think your grappling style is effective, go find yourself a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school and go have a roll. Just don't be surprised why people aren't allowing you to throw them through the air like a kung fu movie, or when the 100 pound purple belt girl taps you 20 times in 5mins. I am sure some of the wrist lock stuff is effective though, but again its a lot lot hard to execute on an opponent who is resisting. They only way to train it effectively, is to train on people who are resisting and in turn are trying to tap you. That's the only way to have a high percentage success in a real situation and the only way to find out if a technique really works. Nothing but love for anyone who train's martial arts though, Ossssss!
