Hem Bihag is the creation of the Maihar gharana pioneer Ustad Allauddin Khan. It is a late night (samay) Hindustani raag that is considered a hybrid of Hemant and Bihag, with special nuances added. Part 1 is the alaap portion of the presentation of this raag by Pt. Rajeev Taranath.
