우리도 마찬가지야.
A shame somebody dropped their hardback book on the floor in the quiet opening.
I'm here after hearing this on CBC. I don't understand the enjoyment of this frantic piece. There is no beauty here. And to think it was written for his wife. She must have been a real piece of work!
Edit: I take it back. This piece is full of melody, counterpoint and texture
have you listened to the other movements?
I mean the other movements are absolutely gorgeous, soaring letters of love. I think this movement may have been more of an ode to a more playful side, and I mean come on that totally bombastic finale is to die for
After revisiting the piece, I am starting to believe the Vivace tempo marking should be felt in the quarter notes. It is in 2/4 meter, and the tempo played here is not vivace in neither one or two. It’s an allegro in one and prestissimo in two. I think a new (or old per se) interpretation is due for this movement.
