You v got to do the Baron next! Sienna, please sometimes just pause from walking and freeze for few seconds to hear what npcs say, what the environement is doing, for example: - You did not see the plants under the tree moving when you entered it - when you left the guy with the magic pigs quest and you saw him do a magic thing with his hands, you did not stop and simply left him to go collect loot, I myself had never seen him do that and wanted to see what he was doing. - When you hear people talk you just listen to few words and continue running for loot, without listening to what they are doing or udnerstanding what was - the context of their discussion, listening to everything can be so rewarding for immersion. - when you collected a lamp near a cave entrance, then proceeded to use the torch. Did you knwo that that lamp could be used? It was added as part of the free updates and dlcs, did you know that? I think it was the cave with the nekkers (not sure but it was in the recent episodes) The positive: You do listen to all white dialogues, and are invested in quest npcs stories at least:) I like that.
"Evil is Evil. Lesser, greater, middling… Makes no difference. The degree is arbitary. The definition’s blurred. If I’m to choose between one evil and another… I’d rather not choose at all. " Welcome to The Witcher 😉
Sienna, 1. eat food when you have not full energy, you dont have to use swallow all the time, food will also heal you. 2. Hold SHIFT when you want to compare items in your inventory 3. Repair all your items in blacksmith every time, and also buy all repairing kits 4. create all potions, bombs, oils in alchemy, it will stay forever. and start using them ;) 5. watch some video how to play gwent and start to play it Good luck! :)
Don't worry, just keep doing the quest. In this game, it's difficult to ruin something completely very difficult, except that the endings of individual quests can end dramatically. Sometimes that just makes the game more interesting. Thanks for the video. Collect a set of witch armor when you reach level 11, it helps a lot.
Do not fret about the decisions that you make throughout the game. It's better to make a manual save right befote making an important choices. Alot of choice's consequences won't immediately take effect and will branch out different chain of events.
“Evil is Evil. Lesser, greater, middling… Makes no difference. The degree is arbitary. The definition’s blurred. If I’m to choose between one evil and another… I’d rather not choose at all.” - Geralt of RIvia And yet, you tried to sit on the fence with the tree creature, just as Geralt would do ... but you were forced to choose anyway Your decision is not "wrong" - the game has been written brilliantly ... very probably consistantly the best writing for a massive computer game ever, you're in safe hands; the fact that you care so much proves it! :) They were never going to give you an easy ride - you knew that anyway from playing Witcher 2, and the choices you had to make in that Geralt is the very definition of "reluctant hero" - a killer "devoid of all emotions" ... but WE know different ;) He cares
The ballad you found is actually a song written about Geralt and Yennefer. :) The crones killed and ate the children and the only way to save them would have been to free the dark spirit, yes. But this quest more than any other in the game doesn't have a clear good or bad path. Everyone tends to have their own preferred choice and outcome, as well as conflicting thoughts and feelings on it all.
There's ultimately no wrong Choices in Witcher 3. It's also why this game is so replayable, just to see how things unfold if you do Things differently.
I always enjoy watching your playthroughs. I don't know if you'll see this comment, but here's a tip. When you visit the blacksmith, buy a treasure map. You can tell by the yellow exclamation mark icon that looks like a map. Buy that map and you'll find witcher gear. Witcher gear is more powerful than regular gear (it can be upgraded over time, and even has a unique set bonus at grandmaster level), and it looks cool. Of course, if you don't care, you don't have to do it.
SIENNA, I saw you talking about XP when you first started this play though, keep this in mind: The amount of XP earned is primarily affected by the player's choice of Difficulty level. For example, players playing on the "Blood and Broken Bones!" or hard level, earn 10% less XP for any given task than players playing on the "Story and Swords!" or normal level.
I'm almost positive you can hop into your inventory and repair your weapons right in the middle of battle. I know that works for applying oils, so I don't see why repair kits wouldn't work
@@SiennaMaria Oh surprising! your cam covers where those would be in your inventory so I just assumed you had some since I could see the armor repair kits! you'll find some soon I'm sure
You didn't choose the wrong option. Both options had some bad outcomes and some good outcomes. Either way some people will die and some will be saved, the only thing that changes is who. You'll see once you finish this part of the game (and you can also check afterwards to see what would have changed if you are interested).
Using Igni can be tricky, because it only has a chance to ignite enemies. If it fails and they are close enough, it is pretty much impossible to avoid damage. It is a risk/reward mechanic, but you can increase the chance to ignite enemies by several means. Be aware about this and you can have a lot of fun with Igni, if you want to. 🙂 What makes you think you picked the worse option? 🤔 I recommend to stick to YOUR decisions during the first playthrough, and explore others options later, maybe in a NG+ playthrough! 😉
Look for Witcher gear, that way you can change the basic and somewhat ugly equipment you're currently using, no offense🙃🙂 - Yep, I copy-paste the comment
She’s replied to me before… I watched her play GTAV & watched her play RDR2. maybe there’s so many comments for her to read she can’t get to everyone you never know?
this quest line is worth replaying to see the other ending, but there's still some left of it.
There are no bad options, not everything is black and white 😉
Well unicorn.?😂
This one is so true. All your decisions cost something. Don't try to be moralist everywhere. That's what is witcher about
So true. Even if you play the other options, you'll see costs that you will not like
That makes me feel… a tiny bit better I guess😔

Every horse Geralt own, he named Roach and all of them were mares. Great video btw!
Not all of them, but he preferes them.
That’s so cute😭
Roach is a mare. :)
Have you done the Barons quests yet? Those are the best storylines in the Velen region. Almost a must
Not yet!
Trust me Sienna, both choices were evil on its own wicked way, but that's the point the game is trying to convey.
Use your crossbow in battles with flying creatures. It brings them down to the ground. It can also be used underwater.
Loved this episode, can’t wait to see you play the barons quest

I hope so😭

flying monsters can be brought down with the Aard sign ,
I like your games of the witcher ❤💪
Hi Siena! You can repair your weapons and armour at any blacksmith, for a fee. Check the menu options at a blacksmith!
YAHHHH I didn’t know (or forgot) that the blacksmith can repair them!
U can easly get down harpies with your silver sword when they attacking you

aard for flying things when they attack
>3 absolute monstrositys appear
>Parts if human bodies as jewellery

I figured that was what was happening with igni! Kinda sucks but also makes the combat more fun + trickier!
Doing quest in random order not following the story is very confusing. I hope the ''Baron'' quest will be next other ways you will be lost.
and again she missed Baron...
maybe a few rounds of gwent? :)
She’s back with another episode!
2:57 Roach is in fact not a boy.
HUH
I see u transfered ur witcher2 saves to witcher 3 that way u have the tattoo on geralts neck i can see it :)

something is wrong with your game's graphic quality. Maybe try disabling ray tracking and play around with sharpness. It may work.
I’ve had this issue since the beginning sadly! I thought I fixed it but I put it back to performance mode so made that made the quality worse again?
@@SiennaMaria yeah performance quality compromises video quality for more fps. Quality mode is better for story games.
